Peats training recs r pretty similar to the Soviet Olympic style of training. For the layman, I think it’s preferable to the standard western model. keeping lactate down when possible is going to net out to better gains in the long run

Man I am really into soviet sport science right now. Soviet boxing, powerlifting, kettlebells, gymnastics, breathwork etc. These guys had it figured out.

Same goes for sled pulling. Explains the hairy and dwarven lumberjack phenotype. Chopping logs and hauling them back to camp.

Nice 2 see training on the balls of the feet. Lots of athletes train heels down now. Think it leads to lots of Achilles tears
