When the Cenk Uygur falsely claimed on Al Arabiya that the reason there’s war is “occupation” and that there would be “peace with the Arab states if there were no occupation” I had to set him straight. The war isn’t even with the Arab world…the war is with the Islamic regime in Iran, (which isn’t Arab). Furthermore, long before any “occupation,” Palestinian terrorists and Arab states were hell bent on destroying the state of Israel, *instead* of establishing a Palestinian state. Rejection of the right of Israel to exist, whether from the Islamic regime in Iran or Palestinian leadership — that is the root of the problem.
