It’s proof positive that the CUSMA negotiations are tanking when CBC has a guest on who tears apart the entire elbows up narrative. 1⃣It’s not business as usual & waiting Trump out is unwise. 2⃣Jamieson Greer & the 🇺🇸 have been following the rules of global trade in the dispute. 3⃣🇨🇦 used to get a free pass on trade issues for holding up our end on defense & other areas. It's telling that since the July 1 CUSMA "declined to renew in current form" announcement that we've heard nothing from the 🇨🇦 reps. Carney, Dominic Leblanc, Janice Charette, Mark Wiseman, the 24 person committee? 🦗🦗 0⃣ No info on the plan, progress, issues, meetings. 🇺🇸 Ambassador Pete Hoekstra is the only person making an effort & providing some insight. The 3rd round of detailed 🇲🇽-🇺🇸 talks are scheduled for July 20. 🇨🇦 has none planned. No biggie. Just a $ trillion of trade on the line.
