Congrats IFBB bodybuilder Nick Walker on winning 2026 Mr. Olympia. Unfortunately his legs used to be bigger when he trained 90 degrees. Since switching to deep ATG squats & full range of motion they've shrunk but maybe that's the goal. #bodybuilding #mrolympia #squats #legday

You are correct he had to shrink his leg size to become more aesthetic and balanced. Say you know nothing about bodybuilding without saying you know nothing about bodybuilding more, please

exactly and the best way to shrink a muscle group is either stop training it or train it with a large range of motion. 90 Degrees for some of these guys just builds too much muscle mass. More in my 2 FREE books

We just saying dumb shit now to sell E-books? His legs are bigger this year if you compare contest ready images. Don't compare peak bulk to peak cut.

He got smaller because he cut down to 4% BF for the competition. All body builders are 2x's as big in the off-season. This post completely undermines any claimed expertise you have.

to be bigger and they've shrunk... Are you serious? Do you think the exercises are what make the difference? You're talking about pharmacological experiments at that level, and I can't believe you're naive enough not to realize that.

no sir just pointing to the methods used to intentionally shrink or grow muscles. 90 deg = max growth. Full range of motion compromises growth. More in my 2 FREE books thanks

@marios4tl Sir, instead of trying to hawk your ‘free books’ why don’t you explain to us why full range of motion would lead to his legs shrinking. If you aren’t willing to this is shameless grifting.

Joel Seedman 的头像
Joel Seedman2 天前

@marios4tl because compared to 90 degr joint angles you have less motor unit recruitment, less biomechanical leverage to overload with, reduced intramuscular tension, fewer cross bridge attachments, and less overall muscle activation. More in my 2 FREE books thanks

agreed 100% it was likely intentional to shrink his legs a bit in which case he resorted to the best training method that will do that which is full range of motion. 90 deg is too potent for muscle growth. My 2 FREE books explain more

Congrats to Walker. He earned the Sandow. Depth didn’t shrink his legs. Conditioning, volume, and how he peaked did. ATG isn’t a size killer. A smaller look on stage is usually less fullness, not extra range of motion.

A coach said 36 eggs a day was as good as steroids. He built Arnold Schwarzenegger. Vince Gironda was the most feared trainer in Hollywood. They called him the "Iron Guru." His gym in North Hollywood produced the first Mr. Olympia, the greatest poser in history, and the most famous bodybuilder who ever lived — all on a diet of steak and eggs. No sugar. No grains. His client list reads like a bodybuilding hall of fame. Larry Scott, the first Mr. Olympia. Twice. Frank Zane, three-time Mr. Olympia and owner of the most aesthetic physique of the golden era. And Arnold Schwarzenegger, seven-time Mr. Olympia. When Arnold first walked into Vince's Gym in 1968, he introduced himself as Mr. Universe. Gironda looked him up and down and said: "You look like a big fat f**k to me." Arnold trained there anyway. Gironda reshaped his physique. Gironda banned squats. He banned back squats. He banned most standard gym exercises. His philosophy: "Bodybuilding is 85% nutrition." And the foundation of that nutrition was eggs. When steroids took over bodybuilding in the 1970s, Gironda refused. He went further than refusing — he said three dozen eggs a day had the same anabolic effect as a Dianabol cycle. Burn researchers had already confirmed it. Three dozen eggs a day improved healing in burn victims at the same rate as steroids. Gironda put the two together. As drugs took over, the industry erased him. They called his methods extreme. They called his diet dangerous. He died in 1997, largely forgotten by the industry he built. 36 eggs a day. Steak and eggs. No sugar. No grains. He was right all along. Question everything. #NSNG #NoSugarNoGrains #QuestionEverything #RealFood #Bodybuilding

7 Reasons I Love Full Hex Squats! 1. Step-ups and split-squats on some sort of podium have already been go-tos for me for the past 15 years of knee rehab and coaching, and anyone can access these for free or dirt cheap. 2. Not everyone wants to jump into barbell squats. My parents maintain bodyweight. I advise young athletes to master one leg at a time first. Both user-friendly from this. 3. Sophomore year of high school I injured my neck from being pushed into heavy barbell squats. Full hex squat allows you to build some upper back first. 4. My best friend in high school broke his back while maxing out barbell squats. Spent the next year in a metal brace. When your legs can’t handle a full hex squat, you’re in a DEADLIFT, not a GOODMORNING. Deadlift has way easier leverage, so you’re way safer. 5. Hex squat isn’t as good for lower back building, but for me, my parents, and my teenage students, back extension is already my go-to to build lower back muscles at higher reps BEFORE worrying about max loads. (To be clear: 1-5 above are amazing PREP/HELPERS for barbell squats if you so desire!) 6. If a young person does want to see their peak strength, a regular hex deadlift is a very safe and accurate option. 7. The same hex is advantageous for forward and backward farmer’s walks to help your ankles and grip keep up with your new power! (These podiums won’t be good biz since they’re made in USA, small batches, but these are easy to mimic or copy. ETA 6 weeks to first batch for sale, for those interested.) Pre-assembled, fold-out-and-get-to-work back extension: Mobility Made Simple program and coaching:

I can't stop thinking about this question: Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? In 2021, Georgia Tech strength coach Lewis Caralla delivered this epic speech to the football team. If it doesn't get you motivated, you may need to check your pulse... He opens with a few harsh truths: • Winning isn't loyal to you • Winning doesn't care about you • Winning doesn't care how sore you are • Winning doesn't care how hard you work • Winning doesn't care how much sleep you get But it's his question that stuck with me: Are you willing to sprint when the distance is unknown? The willingness to sprint with no clear view of the finish line is rare. It requires two things: 1. A deep belief in one's self 2. A deep belief in the mission If you have 1 but not 2, you won't be able to do it. If you have 2 but not 1, you won't be able to do it. You need both. In my observation, the greatest things in life are accomplished when you're willing to sprint when the distance is unknown: The sprint to care for your loved ones in their time of need. The sprint to build something meaningful. The sprint to serve others and create positive ripples in the world. Goal: Find those rare things in life that you're willing to sprint for when the distance is unknown. That, to me, is the definition of winning. "And why chase winning? Because the only thing that's guaranteed in life if you don't chase it is losing."

A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A... ...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was. His name is Gilbert Martin. Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil." Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC. He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position. Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil! Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application. He was 86 years old at the time. He's been there ever since. Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday. He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him. His official job is dining host. Clean tables. Clean floors. But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is: "I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that." A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone. And Wilmington noticed. When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him. Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire. He says if you ever see him working, come say hi. "I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.” We need more of this in the world!!!!

‘The West will be SHOCKED at how quickly the Donbass falls to Russia🇷🇺, Anchorage was the last chance to avoid Ukraine🇺🇦 becoming a RUMP STATE.’ —Donald Trump’s Former Lawyer Robert Barnes ‘They've interpreted Putin's self-restraint as a sign of weakness when it was always a sign of just not wanting to escalate the conflict, wanting to minimise the amount of civilian harm. And as the gloves come off, Russia is going to, you know, as Otto von Bismarck famously said, they're slow to saddle up, but when they ride, they ride fast. And that's where Russia is going. And that's where everybody in the West is going to be shocked as how quickly the Donbass falls. What could have been, Ukraine could have kept Odessa, Kiev, Kharkov, and large parts of the country under the deal that Trump promised in August in Anchorage last year. But Trump actually saw Putin's willingness to do that deal as weakness rather than this was the last exit ramp for the West to avoid Ukraine just becoming a rump state. And that's what's going to happen there. Vance knows Russia is winning the war. He knows Russia will win the war. And he made efforts to try to get the Anchorage deal through. But Trump rug pulled it all the way through because he wants Putin to bow to him, he wants Xi to bow to him. He wants the Ayatollah to bow to him… And so that's problem one, is that our complete lack of realism and escalating unnecessarily with Russia, the greatest nuclear power in the world, contrary to what the President said.’ —Robert Barnes on the latest episode of Going Underground Watch the full interview in the quoted post below 👇

I posted this video about Julius Malema, his mom, his dad and his grandma... on 07 December 2024. It triggered me because I really want to fix this absent father pandemic in South Africa. And I was engaging based on information he shared on The Hustlers Corner & King David Studios. I'm posting it for my supporters who saw the screenshot that didn't accompany the full video in many comments. Obviously, my haters want to spread propaganda about me, to protect their leader. I just don't like it when they lie about me. And I hate it when false propaganda is peddled as truth. It's a curse in the Black nation. To all my haters: I support my children financially. I pay maintenance. I withheld maintenance for 2 of my kids for a few months when I didn't have access to my kids but luckily that was resolved. My mistake was talking about this publicly. I should've only discussed this in private circles. I take full accountability for this, because now it's being used to lie about me. I know you don't care for my truth or my reality & prefer bashing me, but it's key that I share my side because many people look up to me, & I need them to know the full story of what happened, so they don't make bad decisions in their own lives & unnecessarily harm their kids. I feel sorry for Julius Malema because he has lost so much: He didn't know his dad. He's lost his gran. He's lost Mama Winnie. He was shunned by Jacob Zuma, whom he used to admire. He was spat out of the ANC that used to be his home. He's been abandoned by his fellow ex-EFF leaders like Floyd Shivambu, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, Advocate Dali Mpofu & others. The EFF is not growing, he's been implicated in the Madlanga Commission, people have spread rumours about his wife, he's become accustomed to suing people when he's triggered... and he's frustrating ordinary South Africans when it comes to illegal foreigners. I genuinely hope Malema will be okay. I hope he'll introspect. I hope he'll continue building the EFF into a necessary voice for Poor, Black Africans. He wanted my attention, & to get myself & others to talk about him... and I don't mind talking about him. Julius Malema has been the greatest leader of our generation. He's unfortunately just lost our support due to his behaviour, his arrogance, his narcissism & his refusal to listen to the people on the ground. I hope he changes... but if he doesn't, that's also okay. Dankie CIC. 🙏🏽✊🏽

That's the largest "tiny puppy" I've ever seen 😮🥰 We got a bond quite early on. He used to follow me around the pen since he was little. We used to play hide and seek. I used to hide behind the wall and run to the other side and he would run after me. But the bigger he got, this big bull coming bouncing after you probably wasn't the best idea. But he loved a little bit of hide and seek. So he's too old now, he doesn't play hide and seek anymore. We just play cuddles instead. I don't even know how cuddles started. You know, one day I was just having a really bad day and he was lying down, he was flat out, and I was just like 'Oh, I just need a cuddle.' And I just talked to him and he just turned his head and cuddled right into me. I was like, 'Oh, he loves cuddles.' And ever since then we've had cuddles every day 💖 He's never been like a proper bull. He's never had any badness in him really. He's just been as quiet as a lamb ever since. I go up to the cows, they kind of keep me sane if you like. He's literally my world. When you go up and he's here peering over the top of the wall with his little ears, just checking to make sure it was me. He just literally is my safe haven. He puts some sense into me and calms me down, chills me out. And I'm like a different person when I walk back out that cowshed. So yeah, he's literally my world. He's semi-retired and he will live his days here. He won't be going anywhere. He's just a big pet bull now. 📹CowGirlSim

Andy Burnham is doomed. Doomed! Not just because “multiculturalism” - the fracturing of society - has left Britain ungovernable. After sinking their fangs into Keir, Labour backbenchers are like a Bengal tiger with a taste for human flesh (“mmm, is that garam masala on the loincloth?”). They'll want to hear the screams of another victim soon. And Burnham isn't the Messiah. He genuinely is just a naughty boy (or worse, depending on what we find out about grooming gangs in Oldham). He's got no vision, no mandate, no deep Westminster experience, and he won't be able to keep his party happy. Keir gave Labour MPs everything they wanted. Renters' rights, workers' rights, higher taxes. He made sure Britain had the best looked-after illegal migrants in the world. He stuck to his pledge of housing every Sudanese jihadi in a four-star hotel no more than three minutes' walk from a primary school. He even went cold on Israel. And he caved to their every demand - scrapping much needed welfare reform to appease them. He even got them their jobs (and they're not the sort of people used to such high salaries). But they still tore him down. Burnham will be an even bigger disappointment as they've pinned so many lefty dreams on him - rejoining Europe, scrapping immigration control, even higher welfare. He's about to find out that he won't be able to deliver on any of them. Partly because of the bond markets - but mostly because even Keir, the Borg king, the master of procedure, was unable to wrestle Britain's sclerotic bureaucracy to do what he wanted. Cheeky chappy Andy has got zero chance of mastering it. Giving a thumbs up and saying “eeh, stone roses on me walkman, proper avin it with me Everton season ticket laaaa” might make him seem relatable to the average mouth breather, but The Blob will be unmoved. Andy is the Boris Johnson of the left, and as Boris Johnson showed, people who make good mayors don't do well when they have to cope with the punishing intricacies of actually trying to get things done in government. So I wish Andy a very pleasant eleven months in government, but I've already put money on his demise.

This trains her dog to protect her, she knows he can be vicious that’s why anytime she takes him out she puts a muzzle on him to help prevent any accidents. While at the park, some unleashed dogs approach her dog and run up on him. He reacts, but she’s able to control him. The other dog’s owner comes up. Of course he’s unhelpful and blames her dog for being aggressive. When I used to live at the house in Brecksville, it seemed like everybody had an aggressive dog, or maybe they just trained them to not like me I’m not sure. I used to go for walks at night while I was dealing with customers and such when I was at the insurance company. During my walks it wouldn’t be uncommon for me to encounter 3-4 dogs being walked by their owners and sometimes they aren’t on leashes. Even though they aren’t biting, when a big dog like that jumps on me with its paws, it’s gonna scratch the crap out of my arms and legs. I said something to the owner and he just laughed claiming it’s just a scratch. I let it go that time but then it happened again a few days later. I ended up filing a report and calling animal control. They ended up taking the dog because earlier in the day it had attacked a little kid on a bike. Whether or not it intended to harm her didn’t matter, the point is it knocked the little girl off of the bike and dragged it for a few seconds, causing some scrapes on the little girl. The parents were furious because anytime anyone says anything about his aggressive dog he usually laughs at them like he laughed at me. The owner was angry at everyone for repeatedly reporting his dog but honestly this needed to happen. When will aggressive dog owners finally wake up and realize the threat their aggressive dogs are to others including themselves? We’ve all seen the stories on the news.
