We know what a downburst looks like… but this is Colorado, and it was below freezing at ground level. This was a snow event… a cloud burst of snow. But what else do you notice? A burst from f***ing what? Where’s the big cloud? I watched this come together from nothing in minutes- there WAS NO CLOUD five minutes earlier. This is not how pressure and temperature and vapor work at these temperatures… unless you have a GEC amplification event. I’ve now seen 6 since 2017. They never break the boundary layer but you spot their influence. What happens when these form the column all the way to the ground?

Too subjective of a metric With all the technology and advancements in the game, there is no way we should be measuring build up throwing intensities with “Feet Thrown” or a “Subjective %” We need to be able to quantify the single most important component of a Rehab or Build Up throwing Progression: INTENSITY HERES WHY: ⚾️ For any throwing progression, the goal is to introduce a slightly higher stress to the arm, then let their body adapt to the new stress, making it their new baseline. HOLY SMOKES: Anyone else traveling today? It’s a nightmare. I’ve never seen an airport so crowded. This is Fort Lauderdale International…it is like this at every gate in at least the two terminals I have been in today. Original American Airlines flight was to leave for Dallas at 6:30am. We boarded, got on the runway only to come back due to mechanical issues. Needless to say that flight was cancelled and I’m finally boarding a new one this evening. Good luck to everyone traveling the next few weeks with the Spring Break crowds Let me know what you’re seeing out there…

“At 6:00 this morning the Fire Department was alerted to a report of a fire at 2086 Anthony Avenue. We arrived to find heavy fire in two buildings and very quickly transmitted a 2nd alarm. It eventually became a 3rd alarm, bringing more than 40 fire and EMS units and 150 fire and EMS personnel to the scene. We had fire throughout two buildings, and unfortunately, we did have two fatalities,” said Chief of Department John Esposito. “We did unfortunately have a car parked on the closest fire hydrant. We’ve seen that now a couple of times in the last week throughout the City. We all know that we should not be parking on fire hydrants and when you park on fire hydrants, it slows us down. When we’re fighting a fire, seconds count.” The GNY Red Cross and NYC Emergency Management are on scene to assist displaced residents. FDNY Fire Marshals are investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
