Conservatives are the ones who finally changed Washington’s spending trajectory. If you’re worried about affordability, look at the blue cities and states Americans are leaving behind. That’s the future leftist majorities in Congress have to offer.

Changed the trajectory? He's added nearly 4 trillion to the national debt in two years. That's almost 10%. What the fuck are you smoking?

Maybe you should revisit the definition of trajectory. Unless you’re implying he has accelerated it dramatically, which he has.

No one changed anything. Stop lying. Tell me where the reduction is, show me and where it's literally come off and not been replaced somewhere else. I want to see it. Show me the evidence. Show me the receipts?

Gaslighting continues. Look at the increase in debt in his 1st term and 18 months into his 2nd term. On top of which, Americans are paying his stupid tariffs. Go tell your lies to someone else.

@WallStreetMav Also because of illegals in blue states, housing costs are through the roof. Remove all of the illegals and housing gets significantly cheaper.

You're kidding, right? You have spent our country into such enormous debt, it now eclipses our GDP. Trump is responsible for over a quarter of our national debt. You lie like Satan. Or you are just mentally disabled.

Really? You have the White House & both chamber of Congress, while the national debt climbs another couple trillion dollars. Are you ignorant or lying?

Trump is responsible for 30% of the overall debt and its expected to hit $48T by the time he is out of office. Do you think we are all stupid?

In the past three decades there has only been one president that actually balanced the budget, essential for bringing debt down, by outgrowing it or buying back treaasuries with real money. That president was Bill Clinton.

No one believes this. We have eyeballs. Deficit spending is out of control and they have no plans to fix it. Please vote for us and we will continue lying to you because we think you're dumb. Your low opinion of conservatives is blatantly obvious, Kev!

Conservatives cut $1.7 trillion in spending and $500 billion in Green New Scam subsidies. Blue cities are hemorrhaging residents. San Francisco losing a top attraction after 60 years. 725 companies fled California. Chicago spending billions while homelessness and crime surge. The affordability crisis has an address. It is every city and state run by the left for decades. -HG

Blue states have tended to subsidise red states. Trump attempted to increase that disparity by targeting blue states with funding cuts. See also FEMA. Cuts are still happening to healthcare, with the closing of many rural clinics affecting red state voters

I shared my thoughts on “burrito-gate” about a week before the controversy erupted. If the Right cannot offer a suitable alternative to the empty but effective messaging of the socialist Left, we are going to get our clocks cleaned in upcoming elections. A recent Harvard Youth poll found support for capitalism at 39% and for socialism at 21%. Young voters are rejecting the labels and backing whoever they think will take bold action on the real affordability crisis they face—not gaslight them that their financial struggles don’t exist. Obviously, electing socialists makes affordability infinitely worse, but with a public education system that teaches socialism and communism can work, it should come as no surprise that young Americans are not appalled by these ideas. Not to mention the fact that even when the Right has held majorities in Congress, the spending cuts we know are necessary to lower the cost of living do not happen. We’ve lived under quasi-socialism in federal spending for decades—backed by both parties—while calling it capitalism. Now that this system is failing, as socialism always does, and Republican majorities have not delivered meaningful reform, socialists are exploiting the opportunity to present their “alternative.” Bold, audacious agendas to tackle inflation and housing affordability will win the day, regardless of what label the politician wears. The challenge for the Right is that we hold power NOW. Heritage has repeatedly offered a menu of bold policies to Congress throughout the last year and a half, but thanks to a handful of liberals with an R next to their name who wield outsized power in such thin majorities, few have come to fruition. We’re running out of time to make a strong enough case for why Americans should continue to trust conservative majorities in Congress.
