All the loud talk of Constitutional rights is nothing but rhetoric for this group. That's why I requested our Chief Minister to include MNM in this election." "Our alliance is a mega alliance. Our discussions are going smoothly. We will finalise it tomorrow evening. Our Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu will announce the list of constituencies for alliance partners. More than 20 parties have joined us, so we are taking some time to finalise the constituencies." On the Puducherry elections, he says, "There was an agreement between the DMK and the Congress that the Congress would contest 16 seats. The DMK would contest 14. Of the 14, the DMK gave us one seat. We agreed. So, three political parties joined the Congress-led alliance: Congress 16, DMK 13, VCK 1.
