@PetroleumMin They may just be buying time to ascertain your next moves. Thanks Tehseen for the constant pressure. The poeple need Choice at a reasonable price. What the govt is doing is Price Gouging.

@PetroleumMin Tehseen bhai, it is not like they have some sort of realisation of mistake, they are talking because they know people are angry and after cockroaches insulted them on international level they don't want another protest. Don't trust them unless something concrete.

@PetroleumMin Why not an open meeting..? Why hide behind doors? Ministry > Citizen transparency?

@PetroleumMin Tehseen Ji, if you somehow you manage to(i am sure you will) get this thing done in favor of a common Indian Citizen who buys his car after a lot of sacrifices, you'll get huge blessings from each one of such individuals. You really are raising such a valid & important concern.

@PetroleumMin @tehseenp my humble request, Please inform or request them that Nitin Gadkari ji should be banned from any discussion related to ethanol blending. Any news going forward should come only from Petroleum ministry not from him. Also all related documents should be made public.

@PetroleumMin They want to wear you down. They want you to waste your time, make you confused with eventual objective of weaning your followers away. It's the idea and its working.

@PetroleumMin Tell the ministry to first withdraw E20 Then they can play meeting-meeting for as long as they want Once they withdraw, then ministry will be after your team with godspeed Else there will just be tareekh pe tareekh, no progress to show

Fellow Nigerians, Our Beloved Youths, I address you today with a heart full of empathy and a deep sense of duty. We are living through challenging times, and I want to acknowledge the difficulties that many of you, especially our youth, are facing. The economic pressures, social uncertainties, and other related concerns weigh heavily on our nation. Your frustrations and reservations are not lost on us. We hear your cries for change, for a better and more equitable Nigeria. I want to assure you that these concerns are taken with the utmost seriousness by the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. We are committed to listening, engaging, and working with you to find sustainable solutions to the issues that confront us. The government has initiated several policies and programs aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of our youth. One of such initiatives is the introduction of student loans to ease the burden of educational expenses and ensure that no Nigerian youth is denied the opportunity to pursue their academic dreams due to financial constraints. The Tinubu-led administration has also made significant strides in providing access to funds for young entrepreneurs through various schemes, such as the Consumer Credit Scheme, designed to support innovation and enterprise. In addition, we are focusing on job creation and skills development. Programs aimed at enhancing employability and creating sustainable livelihoods are being prioritized. We are committed to ensuring that the Nigerian youth are not just jobseekers, but job creators. I also want to highlight the efforts of the House of Representatives in this regard. We are in the process of developing formal legislative mechanisms to ensure continuous engagement and dialogue with our youth. We believe that your voices must be heard, and we are creating platforms for regular interaction to build consensus on the way forward. Therefore, I urge you to remember that nation-building is a collective task. We must shun violence and embrace dialogue. Your right to protest is acknowledged and respected. Let us use legitimate avenues to express our grievances and work together towards constructive solutions. At this juncture, I appeal to the planners of these nation protests to shelve their action for the interest of our nation. Let's give the government more time. Let's open doors for purposeful dialogue with the government. As I have mentioned above, there are measures taken by the government to nip our challenges in the bud. In conclusion, I want to reaffirm the commitment of the House of Representatives to stand with you, to work with you, and to ensure that your future is bright. Thank you, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

#WATCH | Delhi: On the sidelines of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2026, Dr Muaviyath Mohamed, Minister of State within the Ministry of Tourism and Environment in the Maldives, says, "At this summit, there are a lot of heads of state, ministers, and high-level officials from different countries and multinational organisations. So this is a good opportunity to talk with delegations of people from other parts of the world who are having similar issues and taking our concerns to authorities or at the multilateral level, so that we can get solutions to our issues, particularly because these are trans-boundary and multinational issues that we have to find solutions to in cooperation with other countries and other multinational organisations. This is a good opportunity to network and work together with other people and institutions with similar issues." He adds, "Here I'll be meeting the Indian counterpart at other institutions as well. Because we are having similar issues in some areas... We have been working on environmental and sustainable development... We have to work together with our counterparts, countries, and organisations so that we can achieve our aims and goals. In that context, India and the Maldives have been working on similar projects for a long time. India has been a reliable partner. India has the technological advances, and for us, the capacity building, knowledge transfer, and technology transfer we could get from India. India is always helpful in looking for these opportunities so that we can get solutions to our issues."
