Supplies of crude oil, LPG and Natural gas remain stable. Adequate stocks of petrol and diesel are available in the country and refineries are operating at optimum levels. Around 99% of LPG bookings are being made online, while 96% of deliveries are being completed through the Delivery Authentication Code system. In the last two days, about 87.28 lakh cylinders were delivered against bookings of 88.82 lakh Commercial LPG sales of around 15,900 tonnes and 876 tonnes of auto LPG have been recorded in the last two days. About 1.2 lakh 5 kg cylinders have also been sold. Over 10,000 awareness camps have been conducted since 3rd April, during which more than 1.84 lakh 5 kg cylinders have been sold so far - Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG #EnergySecurity

Oil and gas companies, including their senior leadership, have been actively monitoring the situation on the ground over the past two days. State governments are also holding regular reviews to ensure smooth distribution and to take immediate action against any instances of black marketing or hoarding.
