It could work using two images ("Dual Reference Mode" on Scenario): (i) Upload a front angle image and select "Character Reference." (i) Upload a turnaround sheet (showing different angles) and choose either Depth or Structure (or possibly Pose, depending on the style and details). The Character Reference influence will likely fall in the 20-30 range, while the other image may range from 50-80 (needs testing). This method already works (SDXL-based) on Scenario. You can check out some other explorations here:

It's actually even simpler than creating characters. Here's an example without using any reference images. Incorporating references or custom styles will make the generation more guided and controllable.

Let's build the next character for the team! I’m continuing to test the modular character setup in UEFN using the Metahuman Component. Works really well with custom NPCs! For this new character, I'm back to a fresh 3D workflow using AssetHub . Still aiming for that flat/ anime style so I can go straight to the Tripo P1 model and get the low poly textured meshes to work with. Assembling and rigging are done in Blender. Again making a shape key for the eyes blinking. Because I'm going to use the same bone structure, I can re-use some Control Rig systems like the hair and eyes procedural animations. The character has 35K triangles and each accessory is about 2.5K.

Here's a look behind the scenes of how I used a 3d model, generated from an image, as a "driver" for ai animation. In the near future we'll see more 3d tools that support these types of workflows, with much more emphasis on enhancing user input instead of just letting the ai do everything. I used the 3d model to generate keyframes that I then animated in Luma Dream. By using a 3d model with a diffusion "layer" done with Krea, I got quite high quality frames with a relatively high consistency as well since the AI didn't have to "hallucinate" that much. I upscaled and detailed the frames using Magnific. Using semi-detailed 3d models as drivers for gen ai is very powerful, and it allows us to use models that are sculpted in a more free-flowing type of workflow that doesn't rely so much on high surface detailing or very time-consuming finish, but instead relies more on gestural 3d sculpting. #art #ai

Everybody speak about consistent character for video generation as Minimax, Kling etc... But nothing looking super stable. And so I trained for the first time a LoRA model on Hunyuan video model (open source) on a real person. It take approximatly 15h of training on a A100 GPU with 50 videos. the result is pretty good !! With more training it will allow to have even better result. The result was generated inside ComfyUI. All this video have been generated in AI. Check at , we are doing cool stuff :)

I'm not even a designer, and I've been using this nonstop for the last 2 hours. The model is Hunyuan 3D 2.1. It's open source. You'll find model weights, training/inference code, data pipelines, and architecture on their repository. You can even fine-tune it if you want! Seedance 2.0 vs Gemini Omni, tested under the same conditions 👀 I was working on a new storyboard. After generating it with Seedance 2.0, I gave the exact same prompt + storyboard reference + character reference to Gemini Omni as well. Result: Gemini Omni surprised me with style quality and got closer than I expected in prompt adherence. But Seedance still feels ahead for storyboard execution, motion energy, camera language and environmental interaction. Gemini looks good. Seedance feels directed. You can see them in the video and the storyboard sheet is shown at the end. Which one do you think is more useful for this kind of work?

This one is for an imaginary Italian Giallo thriller. The image quality is quite good in Imagine 1.5 - a little too good - I had to grunge it up a bit for a more vintage look. Bare imitation learning without robotic pre-training is an unfairly overlooked area. (it doesn't even have a name) When done right, it has the advantages of programming. It’s reliable, predictable, easy to modify and debug. The only difference is that the source of truth is a small dataset instead of code. And it is glued together by a vision encoder and a transformer model instead of being compiled. It's hard to imagine how Claude Code could appear without a ton of production-grade source code hardened over years of real use. Same for robotic models. Here is the robustness of such a model. It was trained on orange zip ties with no lighting changes.

✨ Made a new mini feature on Photo AI: [ Grab from 3d model ] So the problem is we're at that stage in time (typical for AI) where image-to-3d models are not good enough but are fun to play with, but we know they'll be good enough in 1-2 years With [ Make 3d model ] you already can turn any Photo AI pic into a 3d model but it still looks hyper clunky and deformed, but it works! One cool idea I had to make that more useful and made now: Let people make a 3d model then change the view of the it with the 3d viewer, then press [ o ] and it grabs a frame of the 3d That image you can then [ Remix ] (img2img), and it becomes a real photo again and that in turn you can then turn into a video again with [ Make video ] So that essentially gives you a fully freeform camera position control to take photos with One thing I need to fix is the background/skybox, I kinda need to take the original photo and remove the person and just get the background for the 3d model viewer, in this case it should be white, but it's a start!

Krull (1983). Dungeons and Dragons in space. A high fantasy movie with big budget practical effects, Prince Colwyn (Ken Marshall) must recruit a team of thieves, vagabonds, shape-shifters and mystics to rescue Princess Lyssa (Lysette Anthony) from the clutches of the evil Beast and his army of Slayers. The film has a great supporting cast including Alun Armstrong, Liam Neeson and Robbie Coltrane who all have lots of fun being lovable bandits battling some pretty impressive alien warriors. Bernard Bresslaw plays the Cyclops and Freddie Jones does sterling duty as the narrator. This bombed at the box office: audiences were expecting Star Wars, not Hawk the Slayer with lasers. But it's a good old fashioned epic fantasy and has a great score from James Horner. Is it a forgotten classic? That might depend on your mood but it's a highly enjoyable movie with a solid plot and a certain sense of style.
