The global mean surface temperature today is only about 1C warmer than it was in 1880. This modest rise has been framed as a 'climate emergency,' yet in historical context it is trivial. Global temperatures have fluctuated by more than 10C over natural glacial cycles long before industrialization. Even during the Holocene, recent periods such as the Medieval Warm Period were far warmer than today without triggering catastrophe. The data show no runaway warming or planetary collapse. In fact, historical records reveal warmth is beneficial to humanity and to life in general. This disconnect between reality and the apocalyptic rhetoric exposes the ruse. There is no "climate crisis."

Despite a six-fold rise in population and a surge in CO2, January temperatures have barely shifted since 1600. Likewise for July, the hottest month of the year, temperatures are virtually unchanged. NOAA rewrites the past all the time. Every day the official US temperature record, the USHCN, touted as the gold standard of temperatures, is adjusted. Take Bruton, Alabama, for example. Take its historical data from 1940 to 1950. In June 2025 , NOAA reported one set of temperatures for that location in the 1940s, only for their July 2025 readings to have changed every single number. That's 132 monthly values from the 1940s, all changed from one month to the next more than 80 years after the fact. And this isn't just one station. It happens everywhere and all the time. As atmospheric scientist Wei Zheng says, "the data is changed every day." NOAA calls this homogenization, adjustments for accuracy. But in reality, it means the past is never settled. It can be whatever the agency wants it to be. How can the science be settled when even the past isn't?

NEW VIDEO : How the BOM has doctored Australia’s climate record by shrinking the size of the Stevenson Screens. The Bureau of Meteorology has systematically replaced the larger sized Stevenson screens (the white louvered box that houses the thermometers) traditionally used throughout Australia with small Stevenson Screens. The peer-reviewed science has found that such a trick artificially measures higher temperatures on average by 0.54°C over 12 months and up 1.7°C in summer. But the BOM denies the peer-reviewed science and asserts that such an equipment change has had no effect on measured temperatures. Accurate measurement of Australia’s temperatures and accurate comparisons with past temperatures is critical. I call on the BOM to run a series of independent tests at several different geographic locations comparing temperature readings from large and small screens placed side by side. Surely they have nothing to hide ? "Real action on climate change" could be as simple as going back to the original large screens - for if the peer reviewed study is correct, this would reduce temperatures in Australia the middle of summer by almost 1°C No doubt these facts will trigger anti-science climatards that see any questioning of the BOM’s methods as an attack on their religion. According to documents I have obtained from the Met Office shows that a staggering 80% of UK temperature stations are classified as 'poor or unreliable' by international standards (WMO Class 3–5). These classifications are used globally by the UN to assess climate data integrity. Despite this, these lower-grade stations are still being used, without correction, in national climate datasets like HadUK-Grid, which directly inform Net Zero policy, media narratives, and claims of “record-breaking” temperatures. Even more concerning, the Met Office admitted it has conducted no internal audits or reviews to assess how these poor-quality stations might be distorting national climate trends. Not in the past decade. Possibly never. The Net Zero narrative could potentially collapse completely once its underlying data is properly scrutinised.

An FOI revealed Lowestoft closed in 2010, yet the Met Office kept issuing official temperatures for it. The office said they were using well-correlated neighboring stations, but the FOI revealed that this was a lie. The numbers were actually coming from a model that was inventing data from 'phantom' neighboring stations. When exposed, the office quietly deleted years of readings for Lowestoft, as well as a number of other stations, and added a disclaimer saying their data is "for general interest only." FOIs also show over one third of Met Office stations never existed, and that real high-quality sites like Colwood are ignored. Also, more than 80% of the network is low-grade class 4 or 5, by WMO standards, giving 2-5C uncertainty. I have not seen anyone posting about this Tesla Robotaxi app upgrade on the latest 25.7.6 version so here’s a screen capture I did today. When the taxi arrived, there was now a button that said “find my Taxi” and pushing it brings up this arrow with distance that helps guide you to the location it stopped at if it isn’t close to your current location. This is in addition to the blue dot and dotted line that was on the previous version. There have been a few occasions on earlier Robotaxi rides where this would have been very helpful. Glad to see the continued improvements!

I have not seen anyone posting about this Tesla Robotaxi app upgrade on the latest 25.7.6 version so here’s a screen capture I did today. In 1936, about 22% of stations recorded all-time highs. No modern year comes close. Heat waves peak between 1930 and 1944, then drop and only partly recover. The long-term trend is flat to down. Cold extremes also decline, but mostly at night. This is largely a product of urbanization over the decades, which traps heat and so lifts overnight lows. $Had the honor of launching the weather balloon for upper air data collection in NOAA Boise NWS Boise. A radiosonde is a battery-powered instrument package attached to a weather balloon that measures atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, and wind speed as it ascends. Transmitting real-time data via radio to ground stations. The upper air data is crucial for input into weather models and useful for predicting severe damal dumeels. The radiosonde flight can last for more than two hours. During this time, the balloon can ascend to heights exceeding 35 km and drift over 200 km from the launch point. Throughout the journey, the radiosonde experiences extreme atmospheric conditions, including temperatures as low as -92°C and air pressures that are only a fraction of those at Earth’s surface. When the balloon has expanded beyond its elastic limit (20-25 feet in diameter) and bursts, the radiosonde returns to Earth via a small parachute. This slows its descent, minimizing the danger to life and property.$

I got a smart meter recently and saw you can download a HDF file with the data so I had the idea of writing a script that could parse that and show the data in a useful manner. However I discovered that someone has already done this and done a really good job on it. The video explains how it works. In simple terms it uses the ESB smart meter data and shows a breakdown of how much data you are using and when and also recommends plans and estimates what each one would cost based on the data. The tool is available at easier to read on Laptop or Tablet or then your phone to Landscape.
