Seriously? A female who goes to a frat party with 10 drinks in her before she arrives, proceeds to drink more and snort ketamine at the party, isn’t a reliable witness or “victim”. I’m a woman. She doesn’t know what role she played in what happened because she doesn’t remember.

Despite the professor's demand to know "who the one loser is," the student was never identified. Following the incident, students organized a "Yawn-In" protest, leading Talbert and the college dean to issue an apology.

The Cornell Daily Sun says Day Hall was vandalized with messages including “SMASH THE PATRIARCHY” and “AT CORNELL RAPISTS ARE PROTECTED, PROTESTORS ARE EXPELLED.” A security camera was also painted over. Those responsible reportedly linked the action to a lawsuit filed September 14 by a former student who alleges she was raped by seven members of Chi Phi fraternity in 2024. The broken glass has since been repaired, but the paint remains and the entrance is still closed.
