...Arrows rarely pierce plate armour. These vids can be so poorly researched it's incredible. Here, watch an awesome and informative video instead:

Nooooooo the armour was usually shaped as to deflect arrows away so that all the energy couldn't be focused on a single point. Do some bloody research

I love when people do poor research before doing these videos.

Lmao arrows aren't getting through a chest piece of plate mail, especially if we made one today with modern steel, I'm betting a chest piece can easily stop at least a .45 (two world wars baby)

At some point during the musket and pike revolution, every cuirasse was supposed to have a dent from a test shot with a pistol. As for arrows, any half-decent medieval armor stops them.

Armchair science. Even youtube is full with experimental archeology, when weapons and armor are tested in real life. Good quality medieval armor is a pretty solid defense up to the level of handguns and low caliber. Military grade weapons with high penetration values defeat them.

What kind of arrows fired from what kind of bow at what kind of armor? These were evolving technologies, and you would need to be a lot more specific to say definitively whether or not an arrow could penetrate a given type of armor.

Depends on what period of time. There was indeed armor that stopped lead musket balls just fine. As well as arrows. As for modern firearms AR500 steel stops a number of projectiles and fragments

Not full core. Ones... military grade bullets have a steel core/rod in them that is designed to penetate armor. The thicker the plating the harder the pass, but it would definitely punch through something as thin as platemail:
