Men and women have equal value as human beings. That’s it. That in no way means women can or even want to do all the same jobs as men or that they can do them all equally well. It is especially true of physically demanding jobs. “Any job is a woman’s job” is the kind of nonsense you should expect from people that can’t tell you what a woman is.

@The2ndDrOrgel Agreed. Some jobs require incredible strength and endurance, body weight etc. Those are better suited for strong men. Some jobs require small hands, big attention to detail and dexterity and often work do those better. Many jobs both can do.

I wish they would stop trying to give women more chores. I am fine with the traditional roles. I don't want to do the harder stuff. Please let me bake bread, cookies, make quilts, garden and turn the house into a home. The dude can fish, hunt (please bring me a deer), hang out with his buddies on occasion. I will turn everything he brings me into wonderful food. Just sayin'.

There is one environment missing however , the cold. I worked on a power dam project for 14 months in James Bay , Quebec. It was always cold at night and cold during the day for 9-10 months of the year. There was 1 woman that worked in the admin trailer only and another that worked the onsite store. A 220 man work camp and seperate housing for only 4 women. That is a little telling of who does those jobs.

The Olympics shown women and men are not the same... I mean... C'mon. I'm a woman, bodybuilder, strong AF, super fit, YET I will never ever ever be nor even close to be as strong as strong men are. Yeah, my husband puts the trash out, cuts the bigger tree limbs and open the jars I can't.
