Are the Republicans who voted to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy "traitors?" Newt Gingrich, on Fox News says: "96% of Republicans voted for McCarthy. 4% voted against him. From my position as a longtime republican activist, they are traitors. All eight of them should, in fact, be primaried. They should all be driven out of public life. At about 12:20, shots were fired from a building about 200 yards from the speaker. According to the best of our knowledge, the individual was hit and taken away immediately by his security personnel.
