Two traffic lanes were removed by The Department of Transportation Alternatives(NYC DOT) on 96th St which is a critical artery to the FDR and West Side HWY. This has manufactured congestion, constricted flow and caused many blocked boxes. They are sabotaging their own streets.

NEW: Group of men lift a Toyota Camry off of two pedestrians who were run over by the car on the Las Vegas strip. According to police, the incident happened after the Camry was involved with a crash with another car on Las Vegas Boulevard. The driver then attempted to back up to “clear congestion on a sidewalk” when two people tried to cross. The pedestrians were hit and pinned under the car. She posted a video of her son and his friends riding bikes and doing wheelies in middle of the road against oncoming traffic to try scaring drivers, and going through a red light. Her son got hit by a car while going through the red light, and now Kawanda is going on a rant about how the driver is the one in the wrong and should be going to jail. Don't be like Kawanda. Raise your children right.

One of THE MOST impactful changes we can make to urban roads in India is to maintain consistent road widths from one intersection to the next. Our current, variable road widths disrupt the orderly flow of traffic. For example, if there's just a bit of extra space on the side, auto-rickshaws attempt to squeeze in, causing chaos. If a road suddenly narrows from three lanes to two and a half, congestion follows. In cities like London, when extra right-of-way is found, the footpaths are widened up to the road. But in Mumbai, we tend to expand the road instead. The issue with this approach is that the number of private vehicles in a densely populated city like Mumbai can grow without limits. Expanding roads only encourages more vehicles. On the other hand, widening footpaths doesn't cause the same problem because the space required for pedestrians is limited—walking is highly space-efficient. #WalkingProject

And groups like Streetsblog New York City and Transportation Alternatives keep running cover for those who endanger pedestrians and drivers alike. Step one is accountability. Track the injuries and deaths caused by reckless cycling. Right now, that isn’t happening.

We’re going to see more and more of this now I’m afraid. People are talking absolutely no chances. Our government have allowed that many hostile people into our country who have committed crimes against women and children within the first few months of being here, people are now extra vigilant and will act wether people are guilty or not. We cannot blame this on racism or nationalism. We can only blame the government. They have betrayed both the British people and immigrants who have come here and done everything the right way and don’t harm anyone. It is them who will bear the brunt of the nations fury.
