I really, really, really wanted to drop this song last year. When I first put out the snippet, I was so excited - but it was hard to finish it on time because everything was a blur. I was sick and weak and nauseous and tired and my body just wouldn't do what I wanted it to. Even in the snippet video, I wasn't feeling great. I was just trying my best. I adore Chike's voice and I knew it was him that had to be on the song with me. When I asked him to give me a verse, he was so ready to go, but he was out of town. As soon as he came back, he came over to my studio the next day 🥹. I got a lotta respect for him. He didn't know I was pregnant and suffering 😅 Watching this video back now, I can't even understand where the energy came from. When the song was done, I struggled to mix it. Even so, I decided to master it myself. I hate mastering, so I don't know what I thinking. I was so disappointed that I couldn't meet the deadline. Everyone had fallen in love with the song and was asking me to put it out. I didn't have the energy to make content. I don't even remember them recording this video. Given how much I love this song, I'm a little bummed I couldn't give it energy it deserves. But please, know that a lot of love and resilience went into this song. I hope that you can let less be more for this one. I hope you can give it the energy that I couldn't. That I can't. When I was 17 years old I went away to college. When I came back home I found that someone/ something had taken my place. My mother got a pet skunk and she named it Stench. It was still a baby when I first saw it. Extremely cute of course so I wanted to hold it. I had it up against my chest when it decided to defecate on me. From that point on I knew that I had an enemy in the house. It wasn't long before i moved out. This thing grew up to be the nastiest animal ever. Eventually she had to get rid of it and I praised that day because I had stopped visiting her over there due to that thing. Just because something starts out cute doesn't mean that it will be sweet and innocent forever. 🤣🦨

I never thought I was going to make a film out of it. But when I met her, she made me think about this story. So, I started thinking about it, maybe just subconsciously. A lot happened to me at Ojude Oba 2025, but I never gave up. I knew I had so many women looking up to me, and a whole crowd that came just to see me ride. At one point, someone grabbed onto my horse to keep them from falling, and it completely tore my under-belt, which was already loose from all the sweat. The heat was intense. I nearly passed out several times while waiting for my family’s turn to enter the Pavilion. But the moment I approached the gate and heard “Princess Adesile” echoing from every corner… I knew I couldn’t give up. This time, I didn’t just want to look pretty, I wanted to show the world that women can do way more than just that. So I rode into the Pavilion without an under-belt, reared multiple times, and still gave a powerful display. At the end of it all, I gave my best, and I left a message that will never be forgotten.

While I do have my issues with the Digital Circus finale, this one scene stuck out to me with incredible reliability. To me, this scene represents what my relationship with Christ has been at multiple times in my life. I had thoroughly convinced myself that I was undeserving of His love and acceptance, and that I’d rather be left alone to wallow in my own misery. Thankfully He didn’t give up on me, and loved me despite my past flaws and mistakes. That’s instantly where my mind went when watching this in the theater for the first time a couple weeks ago, and has continued to stick in my mind since. How blessed I am to have a Savior who will always come for me, to show me His love even when I’ve messed up and don’t deserve it. That kind of love is what pushes me to be more like Christ every day, and while I’m not perfect, I hope to do my best. 🥹

minghao 🥹 🐻‍❄️ and i think it’s amazing that when you were asked what your dream was as a kid you could answer right away that you wanted to be a star 🎱 back then, i really did want to be a star 🐻‍❄️ exactly 🎱 but i think the reason i wanted to be a star wasn’t even for myself, it was for my mom because everything i learned was all because i wanted to see her smile. i wanted to show it to my mom. so honestly, even after debuting as seventeen i cared a lot about what others thought because of the environment i grew up in, it’s less like that now. that’s why i want to do more of what i actually want now.

someone commented that says “work has been really hard these days” and this is what jungwon said to comfort them. 🐈: in times like that, you shouldn’t think too deeply, you have to think lightly. when you’re stressed or dealing with overwhelming tasks, i think, “this won’t kill me anyway”. even when i have back to back all-night schedules, i think, “i won’t die. am i going to die from doing this?” that kind of thing. these days, when i’m doing concerts, i hypnotize myself into thinking i’m strong. even when i go to work out i’m like, “can’t i do this? just go for it.” that’s the vibe i go with. 🐈: honestly, there are tough moments during concerts, but if i let myself slack off there, i can’t forgive myself. i can’t let myself think i’m going to lose to this so i go with the mindset of, “i’ll show them”. if i didn’t think like that, i wouldn’t be able to keep up with concerts for months. it’s about self-hypnosis, telling myself i’m strong.

Jake Oettinger evaluates his 2025-26 season stating, “I don’t feel like I accomplished any of my goals”. “I want to win a Stanley Cup. I want to win the Vezina trophy, and I want to be a starting goal for team USA at the Olympics. And none of those three things happen. So I think it's important to set big goals for yourself. And obviously those are three really hard things to do, but I think I can do it. And I think when I look back at the season, I think I'm proud of the regular season I had, I think any time you go 35 and 13 year, I would take that the rest of my career, if I could. So I'm proud of the regular season I had, obviously had games I didn't like, as everyone does throughout the course of the year, but I think for the majority of it, I helped the team win and made a difference. Bu I think like there's another level that I can get to, and I have a lot of things I need to look at that I need to change and get better at if I want to achieve those goals and help this team win. I think what excites me about is that I know I can do it. I'm not asking myself something that I can't do, or people don't think I can do around me that support me and help me. I got to be the top guy in the number three promotion. And for a long time, I felt like my career was a failure because of that.
