I don't think those are the same sounds, but even after all this time one of my best memories of the first alpha was: me still not sleeping at 5AM, playing Cube World and hearing some crickets and birds singing in the woods between some dungeons.. it was pretty relaxing

the water looks gorgeous, and i love that things in the sky actually cast shadows. i hope the combat changes a bit though, cube world's melee combat was so simple that it felt very limited, and didn't ask for much skill, just for you to have the right gear to tank as much damage

I remember being so hyped for this game like 5 years ago. You could just release it and build onto it. Stardew, grounded and like so many games release early, then release more content as its developed. Stardew has like twice as much content then it did when it released.
