I'm the developer of this game, I've played it thousands of times, written the code for everything in it. When I was coding the behavior of the drones in the Erra: Exordium, drones exploding outside my window in reality. I wanted to add a lot to the game, but I was afraid that if I died tomorrow, the world would never see this game. So, I had to abandon some plot parts, some scenes, characters, animations, a lot of things..., a third of the game was never released. I really regret it, but our reality and our world are a madhouse. I'm currently working on a game that's completely different. I want to create a little world of peace, energy, mystery, and puzzles. I hope I can do that, because the world has become even more idiotic.

Combinatorial complexity is often the bane of imitation learning - including VLA models! Jesse Zhang and Marius Memmel proposed a way around this, using VLMs to perform problem reduction for imitation. The insight is simple - 1) High-level VLM takes a complex scene/task and reducing it a minimal representation (via masking and path prediction) that is needed to act in the world. 2) A low-level policy then takes this reduced representation and generates actions to be executed in the world. The high-level policy absorbs all the combinatorial complexity of the problem, leaving the low-level to focus on dexterity and geometric reasoning. Super simple, works really well across policy classes and problem settings! - 41.4× sim2real improvement (3DDA) and 2–3.5× boosts for π₀ and ACT in the real world. EnvGS: Modeling View-Dependent Appearance with Environment Gaussian Contributions: • We propose a novel scene representation for accurately modeling complex near-field and high-frequency reflections in real-world environments. • We developed a real-time ray-tracing renderer for 2DGS, enabling joint optimization of our representation for accurate scene reconstruction while achieving real-time rendering speeds. • Extensive experiments show that EnvGS significantly outperforms previous methods. I'm extremely excited to announce that we've successfully inferenced π0.5 on our excavator! We've collected a massive corpus of real-world data with natural language labels from operators in the industry and are using it to create some really cool policies. Here's our first demo of it successfully completing a task with just 200 trajectories. More on the way :) Read our blog post: Physical Intelligence

This is insane!🔥 This is a 720p (2D) video I shot of my kids 15 years ago! I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.
