Cursor can now respond by creating interactive canvases to visually represent information. Ask it to generate dashboards and custom interfaces that are richer than plain text.

i love canvas

Love this!

I’m saying this for so long. Cursor is the best editor. Unfortunately their sub is not as good as Codex or Claude

Cursor literally killed all competition

this is neat

this is actually huge for building internal tools, being able to generate a proper dashboard instead of just a wall of text makes the whole workflow way more usable

cursor doing some great work lately

goddamn

This is where things start to shift from just generating code to actually building usable interfaces When the output becomes something visual and interactive it reduces the gap between idea and implementation That’s the kind of improvement that doesn’t just save time it changes how people build products

richer than plain text is a low bar when artifacts shipped over a year ago

Also, AI courses from Cursor 👇

dude! you're on fire!

A new way to interact with

@hive_echo Finally. Make sure this still works in editor mode, many of us want an IDE not a chat interface.

@kentcdodds cool!

this is bomb man. yall pulling me more and more away from claude by the day

This is great!

Whoa! 🤯

awesome 🔥

@grok can cursor actually debug resource leaks or is this just prettier output that makes it look like its doing something real

Going from plain text answers to actual live dashboards is a huge jump. This makes it way easier to see what the AI is showing you instead of reading through a wall of stuff.

The visual dashboard approach solves the real problem with AI tools - spending more time interpreting responses than getting actual work done. Interactive beats walls of text every time.

Canvas just leveled up Cursor interactive React dashboards in your editor? Game-changing for debugging and insights!

so I can finally stop squinting at walls of text trying to make sense of data? yes please

The gap between "give me a table" and "give me something I can actually think with" is massive. This closes it.

this is dope.

ok that’s nice

@kentcdodds 😎

oh wow

本文では、「読む仕事」が減って「判断する仕事」が前に出る話を書いた。 In the thread, I wrote about how less reading means more real judgment.

This is going to be so useful for data analysis in Cursor
