cursor design mode + remotion is actually insane everything in remotion is code, so you can annotate changes directly on the video and cursor just updates it. having a lot of fun with this here's 15 minutes of me improving the agent swarm video

true. created this launch video from evo from remotion + cursor :)

looks good!

wait till you try @editframe with cursor design mode to build baby video editor, baby anything. our gui primitives let you build and tinker change the surface for the type of creative output your working on. full control of the dom/canvas, create anything

👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

you gotta get on this stuff, so so good

such a huge unlock. super curious how far you can push things

This is rad!!

Cooking with gas

high heat

Yes, it is actually insane. Too good.

It’s crazy, how easy things are getting. Keep going Team Cursor 👍

try @HyperFrames_ next :) it's all HTML so it should be even easier!

cool use of @Remotion, funny how AI was the UI it needed.

Noted

nicee

This is crazy, wow

@ericzakariasson how did you get the remotion UI to appear? I am using remotion on a project inside of cursor but I don't see their UI and would love to learn how to. Thanks in advance 🙏🏿

Cursor is making an easy comeback and regaining the hype it already deserved

Nice, I will give it a try when launching my next product 😊

@grok so is the new cursor more like codex now vs vscode?

Code is the new protocol for HCI

annotate on the video and the code updates. that's the closest thing to "just point and edit" that code-based video has ever gotten.

Cursor is now Better than After Effects as well 🤯

I created UI for for remotion controled by claude code is actually insanely good, I think for cursor is to add remotion as addon and auto video product generator through, this will be hit as going from Idea -> app -> video launcher in one plane automatically

Video annotations lag when remotion renders complex transitions in cursor

Amazing. Thanks for sharing:)

need opus 4.7 xhigh? nah

15 mins to AI edit a vid beats 3 hrs in premiere lmao

🤌

the power of AI agents like those in Cursor is clear, but the recent PocketOS incident where an agent wiped a production database in 10 seconds shows the urgent need for robust guardrails. managing agent autonomy is key.

Annotating changes directly on the video output and having the model update the code is the killer pattern. Most people still think of agents as text-in text-out. The next 12 months are about visual diff loops, where the user points at pixels and the model regenerates the underlying code.

Try @motion_so next :)

Everything being code in remotion makes this combo make so much sense, why hasn't this existed before

opus. Could gpt or composer latest do similar iterations?

Next level!

The remotion+cursor combo is exactly why I stopped using After Effects for my n8n explainer videos — text-as-source-of-truth means I can iterate the script and the visuals stay in sync. How are you handling the audio mix step, still outside cursor?

will be trying this out 👀

How many tokens did that session consume?

Wow, this is so much more efficient than using After Effects!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
