working with cloud agents in cursor feels the same as local, but the fact that i can shut down my computer and still have it running is amazing. one of my favorite use cases is planning in cursor, then send off to cloud agent for impl. here's a short demo

cursor continues to curate the most frictionless way to build software. - planned a new app idea with Cursor Agent (Laptop) - left cafe for gym so i hand off to Cloud Agent (Cloud) - mid workout, i get an msg that my PR is done (Email) - mid pump, i get a new idea. message Cursor via iphone to add it - monday morning comes. i already forgot about my app - cursor emails me w/ a 30 sec demo of agent clicking through the core feature. shows me that it works if you showed me this in 2022, i would have put my life savings into cursor stock immediately

My biggest annoyances with VS Code (and in turn Cursor) is I've never been able to get Find + Multi-Cursor with arrow keys working like I did in Sublime Text I use it a lot to edit lists of text fast I go Cmd+Find "SGD" for example, then Find All, then I literally have 10 cursors on every SGD, I can arrow key through the letters around it, or use Option/Alt-Left or Right to skip through words, or Command-Left or Right to to the beginning or the end of the line Then I can use Shift to select I'm super fast at editing like that but none of the shortcuts work in VS Code or Cursor similarly The internet says use Cmd+Shift+L to do it, but all that happens in Cursor is I end up in the AI chat and I don't wanna go there

Loop engineering is great until something breaks. Here is how I improve the reliability of my agentic loops. I use human-in-the-loop (HITL). It's easy and extremely effective. Anyone can build this. My setup: I recorded a quick demo of how it all works. I shared recently that I now use more voice agents to build and communicate with agents. I also use them to verify. I hate the idea of being tied down to my computer or in a Slack channel to communicate with my agents. Here is what I have done to streamline communication with my agents. All my Claude and Codex agent sessions now use the Dial MCP server. It has a bunch of tools and provisions my agents with their own number that can place calls as native tools, with voice, SMS, and iMessage behind one interface. As my loops/automations work on PRs and new features, my agents escalate decisions to me via a short phone call. This is extremely useful when I am on the road or away from my desk. If you want to try this with Claude Code or Codex, paste this into your agent and get started right away: "Get yourself a Dial phone number and call me.
