He didn’t need to be rude. The oils not even hot yet and the coffee isn’t brewed. They roll in at 4:50 and not a minute sooner. Bad management but he didn’t need to be passive aggressive.

Insane take. They are scheduled 30 min to 60 min before opening if not a 24/7 location. That’s McD SOP.

You should be able to expect food at McDonalds at 5:00, not even 5:01. If theyre open, that means theyre open. If a restaurant closes at 10, you should be able come in at 9:59. Staff know all of this, theyre just lazy and dont give a shit. Whats worse is restaurants have high turnover even up to managers and even owners, so things dont really often get better, they just shift around.

Let corporate know, along with date, location and time.👍🏼

Doesn't try to say anything into the speaker, just sits in silence, yes they can hear you. "I look on the GPS and it says we're open come on in for some food." - Fluffing up his content, as no GPS tells you all that. Just hours of operation. Not saying something like this would not happen, but seems like a liar.

Did the same thing at two very well known stores..they open at 10 am..got there at 10, still opening, waiting in line both times..I said to them, if you are open at 10, you should be here at 9:45 and getting ready to be fully open at 10..line full of people, shame them!

@Cat5SMASHICANE I managed a fast food restaurant for several years. I had Everything set up, coffee ready before opening on time. I arrived an hour early, my first staff person came in an hour after I opened. I appreciated the customers because without them I would have been unemployed.

It’s a dual edge sword. Customer service sucks, but in the other hand Custoners suck…

It started becoming crap years ago. I’m now used to it that I no longer feel guilty giving them zero respect back.

I sat at a drive thru window early one Saturday morning for 15 minutes and watched the window employee clean down an entire soda machine before she would hand me my food which I could see, sitting in the bag right inside the window.

@drinkonsaturday Dunkin doughnuts is open all night so that would be a better place to get something that early- they have eggs and sandwiches. He should check out Wawa’s sandwiches as well. A lot of people just go there instead of fast food now a days.
