I’ve had so many (good ole boys) say “Cybertruck is UGLY and not a real truck!” Then those same guys get in, see the standard features like air suspension, 4 wheel steering, and steer by wire. Then they drive it and all of a sudden looks don’t matter and they start to get it! Just when they think they’ve seen it all, tap “Start Self Drive” and witness their brain short circuit🤯 Tesla Cybertruck is by far the best automobile made to date and the way TRUCKS should be!

Your inputs get translated digitally through sensors, software, and electric actuators running on the 48V system. Today I had my first demo drive in a Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.

Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.

It reminds me of when the first iPhone came out and we were in awe of a computer being in our hand. I bet we don’t even drive ourselves anywhere in ten years. I have chosen to drive my Tesla on FSD multiple times instead of flying. In the past year, I’ve done multiple ~20-hour days driving continuously on FSD, covering over 1,000 miles daily without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. We just took a trip from Toronto to Nashville as well. It was 900 miles one way, which we completed in a single day (18 hours), and it was way more economical (and fun) than flying. Before that, I did Toronto to Austin, TX (3,200 miles round trip) TWICE in July and November — all in my Model 3 Performance. Would I attempt these drives without FSD? No way. I literally push a button on the screen, and the car handles all the charging stops, traffic, navigation, and everything. It’s so easy. If you’re an avid road tripper, there’s no better car to do it in than a Tesla.

I bought one with my own money. It looked just like this car. I wrecked it a few times, beat the hell out of it, and eventually let it go 🏎️ 💨 Fast forward about a decade ago, I decided I had to have one again. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find a fully loaded Trans Am. Power windows, power brakes, power steering, 4-speed, 6.6L, honeycomb wheels, and the Hurst T-tops.

Dear Tesla Team, dear Elon Musk I am reaching out to report a concerning issue that has surfaced since the recent holiday update for Europe 🇪🇺 Tesla drivers. Many in the Tesla community, have noticed that the autopilot's 'steering wheel movement' prompt has become increasingly difficult to dismiss with normal, gentle maneuvers. I did also a survey on my Instagram account and the situation confirmed of the people. In some instances, it requires such a forceful turn of the steering wheel that it feels sometimes unsafe. I have attached a video from a community member demonstrating the problem. Could you please check this matter? Thank you for your attention to this!🙏 André

I teach all of my kids how to drive everything we own. They’ve been riding & using the steering wheel since around 2 years old. This is the first time my 8 year old has left the yard on her own (just going up to a small field and back). Don’t worry, the blades are NOT on.

What does it take to certify the Cybertruck steer-by-wire system as part of homologating the truck for legal use in Switzerland and the EU? A specialized testing harness to selectively disable one or both steering motors to complete official ASTRA motor vehicle department testing requirements. This is just one part in the overall process that @Teslab_ct going through to allow legal road use! Check it out!

This is ICE agents after they shot & killed a driver & he’s slumped over the steering wheel of his car & his car is going in circles because his foot is still on the gas pedal & they’re trying to stop it. This reminds me of Renee Good & he was allegedly shot in the face too.

Here is why I disengaged FSD 14.3.3. Before this clip starts, I could see a semi coming down the on ramp and saw that it had some momentum. FSD did not slow down but the truck in the right lane would have ran into the other semi and either had to brake real hard or switch lanes. I took over to make it clear to the semi driver that I would let them over. No big deal, would be nice, if FSD could have seen that coming and facilitated that move. Tesla AI

Tonight, on a long-ass five-hour work drive, I truly realised the power of FSD. Tired and listening to a podcast, a car around a corner had broken down and suddenly appeared but before I could take over, FSD glided around the car and we continued on… In my spike of adrenaline, I pushed save clip and lived to share another day. Maybe on a full ‘tank’ I’d have been quick enough to do the same manoeuvre, but this was literally at the end of my day and I was pretty low energy. Phew for FSD.

Do you know why this car skidded and lost control? It was due to hydroplaning a situation where a layer of water builds up between your tires and the road, causing a temporary loss of traction. The tires end up gliding over the water instead of gripping the road. How to handle hydroplaning:- -Stay calm the most important thing. -Do not brake! I repeat: no braking. -Avoid sudden steering. Sharp movements can make things worse. -Let the car slow down naturally -If the car starts to veer, gently steer in the direction you want to go. -Once traction returns, you’ll regain control safely! Stay safe Drive smart! 👍🏻

FSD 14.1.3 swerved AT a pedestrian at 4 seconds in. At least that's what I thought at first. Then I looked back at the footage and saw that the car to my left veered into my lane and FSD moved me over so I didn't get hit. We drive with two eyes that can only see in one direction. FSD is seeing all around the car AT ALL TIMES!
