South Korea has successfully completed the first fully successful flight test of the KALCM Cheonryong (Korean Air-Launched Cruise Missile), which is expected to become the primary long-range strike weapon of the future KF-21 Boramae multirole fighter. On June 25, the missile was launched for the first time from an FA-50 light combat aircraft. After separation, it successfully ignited its main engine, stabilized its flight, and completed the entire test profile as planned. The successful flight comes after two unsuccessful attempts in January and March, when the missiles crashed into the sea due to failures in the ignition of the main propulsion engine following launch.

Austria-based startup CycloTech is developing flying aircraft powered by CycloRotor technology instead of traditional propellers. The company plans to build a four-seater air taxi with four CycloRotors, offering an 85 km range, 40 minutes of flight time, and a cruising speed of 150 km/h. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has released new footage of the KAAN's second prototype (P1) successfully completing powered taxi tests, confirming the aircraft has entered ground testing ahead of its maiden flight. TAI expects P1 to make its first flight within the next couple of months, with both P1 and the third prototype (P2) scheduled to be flying by the end of 2026. Deliveries to the Turkish Air Force remain on track to begin in 2028.

Russian developers implemented and installed their own design solutions and technologies on the aircraft. In December, the United Engine Corporation announced the start of flight tests of the PD-8 engine designed for a passenger airliner. Previously, the SSJ-100 aircraft had an engine of the joint Russian-European development SaM-146, but due to sanctions, its production stopped, so we had to create a completely domestic PD-8.

The fully autonomous Talon-A2, equipped with landing gear, has successfully exceeded speeds of Mach five and completed its second autonomous landing at Vandenburg Space Force Base. This mission documentary follows the first recovered flight of TA-2, the result of five years of effort and dedication marking a pivotal moment in sustainable hypersonic flight test for our country.
