Exactly what she said. I’m from BC, but for the last 11 yrs, I am an Albertan and forever will be. I will always be Canadian, but living here, makes you appreciate it takes hard work and living through hard winters.

We’ve spent months negotiating with the federal government and have come to an agreement that includes the cancellation of the oil and gas production cap, and the net-zero power regs in Alberta. My hope is that as we work to implement this agreement, and advance a new million barrel per day oil pipeline to Asian markets, Albertans will see a bright future as a strong and sovereign province within a united Canada.

Alberta is the last stand for Canada. I’m not Albertan so personally, I would rather they stay in Canada because I understand the detrimental effects that this will have on the country. That being said, it might need to be done. Not just for Alberta - but for Canada. We might have to disassemble this whole thing so we can build something new. Nothing is working here. Our constitution, our judicial system, our parliamentary system….it’s time for a change. Maybe Alberta leaving is exactly what Canada needs to wake up.

The vast majority of Trudeau’s ‘9 bad laws’ have been scrapped or reformed. Investment has begun flowing back into energy, tech, and agriculture, and we are creating more jobs than the rest of the country combined. Now is not the time to give up hope. Now is the time to double down and help Canada reach its incredible potential. With Alberta leading the way, we can turn Canada into one of the most strong and prosperous economies in the world.
