I recently met with the teacher unions on the sidelines of the Department of Basic Education’s Strategic Planning session in Pretoria. The meeting focused on the urgent issue of budget cuts affecting the education sector. I am committed to protecting the basic education sector from further financial strain and to working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the sustainability of South Africa’s basic education system.

Painted sections of my face with face paint and used them to guide where the AI effect would appear. Using Wan 2.2 Animate in ComfyUI, I turned those areas into a robotic endoskeleton while leaving much of the original footage untouched. It's far from perfect, you'll notice some wiggles and lighting mismatches, but I love the idea of using AI to enhance real footage rather than replacing it entirely. Keeping those real-world elements can help effects feel more grounded while also opening up interesting possibilities for previs and creative experimentation.
