Standard time is better for your health

How about we stay on Standard Time. No congressional approval needed. We just stop this archaic exercise. And you know that DST doesn't really "add" an hour to the day, right?

Please stop it with this "longer days" malarkey. There is the same amount of daylight either way, it is just where on the clock face it happens that changes. I, for one, do not relish 9:00 sunrise.

Permanent DST gives us near 9am sunrises.

This is easy. We just need Trump to make a statement that he’s against DST. Boom! Every Blue state in the country will immediately adopt daylight savings time, year round. I wouldn’t be surprised if they “invented” double secret DST just for their TDS.

The purpose of daylight savings time is to help people who work outside It maximizes the safe work time for farmers, builders, road construction, etc Better to have the people who keep the nation running working in the dark than to inconvenience office workers for a day

I will die on this hill. Daylight saving prioritizes daylight and fun for people. Standard prioritizes my wellbeing for my corporate overlords. Most importantly, switching the time 2 times a year kills the most people. Follow Canada, and businesses will adapt if needed

Stay on permanent DST. I don’t need it to be light in the morning. I’d like to enjoy time outside after work.
