Another example of the Dub adding/changing lines for no reason, with the subs turned on. Guru's lines are completely changed. Gohan already witnessed Freeza and his men killing old men and children earlier in the arc but somehow he doesn't get how Freeza would be ok hurting Guru. Some Z episode has anywhere from 30-40 dub changes for absolutely no reason; changing character motivations, dumbing down scenes, changing backstories, plot, just because. DBZ never needed to be 'Americanized' for it to be loved by everyone who speaks English.

This is how you butcher and bastardize a character. From DBZ #129. During Vegeta's flashback when we see him unlock Super Saiyan, the dub decides to INVENT out of thin air that Vegeta 'stopped caring about Kakarot', literally the OPPOSITE of what happened and of his character. This is more than just a change of dialogue, this is literally butchering a character for absolutely no reason. The only ones who didn't care was Funimation for keeping the integrity of the series that made them wealthy.

So much love for this episode with Madhusudan Kela ⭐️ Honestly , the best part of this episode was not the learning and wisdom (ofcourse that is priceless too ) but it was understanding that eventually it’s always the simplest of things that bring joy to even the most wealthiest people.
