Today is the first day of the year. It also happens to be our dad’s 83rd birthday. He’s the youngest looking Octogenarian; smart as a whip. For that, we thank God and those mountain genes. Yesterday, we went camping by the lake deep in Mukono and he used the opportunity to remind us of our duty as good citizens (frame 1). He used his own example as a civil servant for decades to remind us we can always strive for better. I don’t know where we would be if this man didn’t sacrifice everything he had in order to give us an education. It’s all he says a parent should do; give your children the best education and you will have done your part in building a better society. Long may he continue rocking.

There's a reason I asked Bart to co-host a podcast with me. It's NOT because he runs a multiple 8-figure DTC brand with ZERO employees... Your feed is full of people adding tactics and tools to your to-do list. Meanwhile, I've seen Bart send one email, upload a couple ads, post on Instagram, then be done for the day. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there. I am grateful for the gift of fatherhood and for every man who wakes up each day trying to do right by his children. None of us is perfect, but our children do not need perfection. They need our love, our time, our guidance, and our presence. Life can be difficult, and sometimes the responsibilities of fatherhood can feel overwhelming. Even so, walking away from our children should never be an option. Long after the money is spent and the gifts are forgotten, our children will remember whether we were there for them. Let us keep showing up. Let us keep supporting our children and respecting and caring for their mothers. Let us keep doing the little things that make a big difference in a child's life: listening, encouraging, teaching, protecting, and loving. Fatherhood is one of God's greatest callings. The fact that a child can look at us and call us "Dad" is both a blessing and a responsibility. May we never take it for granted. To all fathers doing their best, especially those making sacrifices that no one sees, thank you. May God give us the wisdom, strength, and patience to raise our children well.

Marco Rubio: The President's announced that certain chips can be sold. Obviously it's up to the Chinese to accept it, but I think we always have to establish our area of dominance. In essence, the cutting edge, the things that give us an advantage. It would be dumb and stupid for us to sell that to anybody, especially a country that's going to reverse engineer it and leapfrog it. So I think that's understood maturely speaking. There are things the United States still has dominant position in and from our national security perspective, we should keep that dominance. We want to keep that dominance. The Chinese are going to do their best to catch us and even surpass us. We shouldn't make it easy for them.

Holding the election on 16th January could make it more difficult for many Nigerians to vote, as a lot of people may still be away from their usual place of residence after the festive season. Whether intentional or not, anything that makes it harder for eligible Nigerians to vote should concern all of us. My advice is simple: make sure your polling unit is in the location where you will be on election day. If you intend to travel during the holidays, plan your return early so you can exercise your right to vote. Don’t allow logistics or poor planning to stop you from participating in the election. Your PVC is your power. Your vote is your voice. Justice can never be cracked.

They're the only other country that has the talent, the resources, and the technology expertise to basically beat us in AI. And I think whoever wins this AI race, that's going to have tremendous ramifications for both our economy and our national security. Clearly, we want the US to be the winner, just like we were with the internet, and every other technology revolution before that […] We know that to win this AI race, we have to be the most innovative.
