Have you got it to work with either of the o1 models? When using o1 It tells me it'll complete the research and followup but never does. Ive had more success so far with o3, like in your example.

It might be worth considering that this offering is not necessarily superior to Google Research, and in some cases, it could even be less impressive. When it comes to video search, like YouTube, Google’s product appears to have a notable edge. Just fact-checking the hype!

I've improved the NotebookLM script on my news site: The pattern? Have my AI agent grab all posts from the AI community here on X via the X API. About 30,000 every day. Costs about $150 a day. This is why lists on X are so important (I have the most complete lists of the tech community here on X by far, and they are all public so you can build your own systems like this). Then my AI agent, built by Brayden Levangie and me, analyzes all of them, builds the website above, and it writes a script for NotebookLM, which largely is the same as the essay you see on the top of that page. At the bottom of the page is a "copy script" button for NotebookLM users. You can copy the script, paste it into NotebookLM, which then can build you a podcast (which I like a lot better than the videos it generates, which I include here from today's script). It updates three times a day, around 8 a.m., noon, and 6 p.m. If major news is breaking I update it more often. Why do I call this a pattern? Because you'll see this pattern used a lot more to build personalized news systems. Next on the priority list? Get my newsletter to work and send out to the thousands who have subscribed (thank you for being patient). Unfortunately beehiiv 🐝 hasn't turned on automatic posting yet, so am looking at other email systems that can be automated, like Resend. Eventually I want to turn this into an automatically generated news show with HeyGen. Thanks for putting up with my agent that has been spitting out bad links lately, Brayden and I have been working on that behind the scenes to make the system more reliable. What do you think about the news site? I built it because it is just impossible for anyone to read the 30,000 posts a day that the AI industry generates here on X. Following my UFO research shared yesterday there has been a huge reaction, much of it very supportive but the best feedback I've been given is stuff like this! Where another pair of keen eyes and lateral thinking turns up interesting new information Polarity here demonstrates how the traditional Google map search for the base shows what looks like wasteland or construction, from 2017 And now I realise why some people were sending me odd questions about the base because unless you update it manually you don't see what is actually there now in 2025 And of course I am in the UK and we see many different versions of not just Google but other US-based information, some of it actually helps my other research as I appear to have access to some things that Americans don't, but it works both ways However I urge you to watch the full critique that Josh does which is very fair and very constructive helping me know what else I have not made clear or not looked at in enough detail Also I realise people are so suspicious of AI that they simply think I am some idiot that just asks it questions and waits for it to answer them; understandably I know because many people do this But if you listen to the Space that I hosted directly after posting yesterday or indeed look at the complete discussion I had with AI, which I have published in its entirety, hopefully you will see that researchers like myself use it only as a tool. For example I looked at architecture, Electro magnetic security, geology/construction and anomalies in building locations, none of which it volunteered. Thank you very much to Josh for this and anybody else who has this sort of insightful constructive feedback please do let me know.

Now that I am home and have access to my files I decided to do a quick test with one of my Vtubing avatars. It works way better with my larger iPad Pro (less crashing/more memory and more screen space) compared to the mini so I did want to bring that up. Importing the file over as GLB was more stable than just OBJ plus it kept the color info from the previous texture. I texture all my avatars on substance painter but have been looking at an alternative when I am out and about that is not on the computer and this actually hits all the right "wants". Adding a quick video of the way the app works for me. I like that it has layers, I can alter my brushes and even add stabilization when I am drawing (which I use that extensively on procreate so that was a huge plus). The stamp tools will come in handy as well but did not show it on this video. The file itself is imported as "one mesh" but each part is treated as their own separate piece which I show in the video. I do the same thing on substance painter making it really easy for me to texture. The app then exports the texture out for each object which is the same way I do so on substance. Overall I am extremely impressed with the work Sparseal has done on this application and see how useful this will be for my current work flow of texturing. I for one love the ability to be "portable" which is a big reason I sculpt so much with Nomad Sculpt on the iPad. Having the freedom to do your work away from a desk and if you feel like doing it outside is probable why I yearn for iPad apps so much like so. Give this app a look, it is free to try on the App Store (It is $19 to be able to export, but a one time buy). It is called "Wafer" for the iPad. I already use CozyBlanket from the same creator to do re topology so I expected this level of fantastic with this current app.

LLM Wikis are being slept on. I argue that creating knowledge bases with LLMs or coding agents is one of the most valuable applications of AI today. It's about being intentional in building and scaling your intelligence stack. To showcase this, I wanted to share an LLM Wiki I have built over the last couple of months. It's called PaperWiki, and I use it across all my research workflows, along with my research agents. In fact, I also use it to curate papers I share with my communities, newsletter, and on X. The PaperWiki is updated regularly with automations, so I basically have agents on a loop maintaining it. All the entries are ingested from different sources and stored in a vault (Obsidian) and further indexed using qmd. And then further presented via an HTML artifact. So all of it is easily accessible to all my agents and easily searchable through full-text search and rich semantic search. The structure of the wiki has proven significantly useful to start interesting and exciting cutting-edge research projects with my research agents (from building tiny and more efficient gpt/difussion llms to building out SoTA harnesses and memory systems). It turns out that agents love markdown files and can more easily navigate the papers given the rich metadata structure of the wiki. I am just getting started on this, but it's clear to me that we should all be experimenting with LLM Wikis. Here's why: Building LLM knowledge bases gets you into the habit of leveraging AI outputs in all kinds of creative ways. It's the good kind of tokenmaxxing we should all be pushing for. LLM Wikis can be maintained automatically in a loop. I use an automation that updates the wiki every day based on papers I curate. The curation is another automation I run in a loop (with a bit of human in the loop), so I get to build on all my previous knowledge and expertise, and all of it compounds the deeper the integration/layers. One interesting result of this process is that I feel like I can better spot high-quality papers and remove noise more easily. Social media could never solve that. And most paper aggregators use metrics I simply don't trust. I like that agents can help with the noise vs. signal problem. This is important for research. Lots of people consider agents to produce mostly slop. But it doesn't have to be that way. Careful curations, prompts, automations, verifiers, and human-in-the-loop can produce some astonishing results. And you really don't need frontier models for this. I use a combination of frontier models (opus-4.8) and open-weight models (deepseek-v4-flash) to maintain this. An exciting future work (we are working on this DAIR.AI) is to tune specialized models on top of this to allow LLMs to quickly understand cutting-edge research ideas and can better conceptualize research strategies that further accelerate scientific research agents. I plan to open-source a bunch of this work, including the artifact, but this is currently work in progress, and I was excited to share some thoughts as I continue working on it. Sharing more as I go. It has been 4 years since this project started, 4 years since this dream started, it's still unbelievable for me that this is finally happening. I just wanted to come here quickly to thank the whole Dumativa team, they're probably watching this and laughing about what went wrong, I want to thank all my friends that are here, or not, and principally, thank you for being here and for making this game happen, this dream come true. This is the most important story of my life, I wrote this game in 2020, a very weird moment for me, very complicated moment, and it means so much to me. and I learned how hard it is to make a game, I couldn't be more lucky to have this spectacular team by my side. Most AI tools today are just command-takers. You type, it responds. You click, it executes. There's truly no learning, no memory, no adaptation. You're still doing most of the work. Which is why Miles by Avo on Solana would make so much sense if built well. From what I understand so far, miles learns about you over time, adapts to how you operate, and figures out the tools you struggle to navigate on your own. Less clicking, more conversation, the more you use it, the better it gets at working with you, not just for you. That shift from command-follower to learning companion is bigger than it sounds. It's the difference between a tool and an agent that actually knows you. The second one is Agent Grid and this one is for builders and power users. But as I mentioned in this video, I'm still studying the Agent Grid. I'd come talk about it once I learn properly about it. Souren just keeps shipping!
