jl's ment really got me 😭 he said that, honestly, there were a lot of reasons that made him doubt whether he'd do well today. he doubted himself. but then he talked about how every time he gives a ment like this, he ends up feeling a little sorry because there are things he wants to say that don't come out the way he hopes due to the language barrier. and yet, despite that, he thanked fohas for always giving them strength and being the reason they can get back up again. Ross Chastain said that when the guy who leaned into his window grabbed his head, he thought he was just saying good job in an excited way. But then he took his hat off his head, did a dance and said "I got your hat! I got your hat!", and ran away. Chastain's winning hats are important to him, so he made sure (in no uncertain terms) NASCAR security took care of it and got his hat back. Big thank you to Dustin Long for letting me use his video. Something went wrong with NASCAR's video/audio so it wasn't usable.

A couple of important lessons to be learned here… 1) There’s zero reason to full-send a popup at your opponent when he’s down on the ground. That ball could have been put away a hundred different ways rather than hitting it as hard as you can directly at the guy. 2) This is a perfect example of why eye protection matters. At the very least wear a forwards hat to give your eyes some protection. The kid thankfully walked away with no serious damage, dabbed it up, and showed good sportsmanship. This could have ended very badly. 😬

Here is the full context of Simms’ comments, and it’s not better. He starts by saying it’s a nice gesture and a horrible thing, but then immediately goes into “he trolled me a lot.” Florio then goes into saying it’s better to be trolled than ignored because people are interacting with you. Simms clearly disagrees but says it’s “a deep subject and he won’t go into it because he’ll get in trouble.” Florio responds by saying it’s not that deep they’re just being fans. Simms again disagrees and says “we’re also setting an example of hey here’s money to a guy who was very negative.” Chris Simms literally said he doesn’t think it’s a good idea to donate money to Eric Carmona because the TuAnon account trolled him on Twitter. Disgusting.

This woman’s mom had a terrifying encounter in college that could have ended very badly… She was walking out of the library in the pouring rain when a handsome guy with a beard approached her, complimented her polka-dot umbrella, and said he was a photography student. He offered to walk her to her car and hold her umbrella since her hands were full of books.
