No, there are many cryptocurrencies with a finite supply. Some even have deflation programmed in (Bitcoin does not).

I like bitcoin’s limited supply, but why would people demand it? What for? What is its utility? Supply is meaningless without demand. If its price is its only utility then it is nothing else than a speculative asset at the mercy of M2 which drives demand for speculation. That may be a good bet, but I rather invest in ETH and DFI. Clear utility with defi etc aside of pure speculation.
