004/100 Buttons. A bit of the process on building an animation. When looking at a finished animation or in this example a finished button, it can look quite complex inside the CSS. But when building it, it’s more like a lot of simple steps, one after another. Here I had the idea to make some kind of text animation like the footer logo on the Osmo site. I try to add the base animation with no complex easing, for example transition: translate 0.4s ease. Starting with just moving the one text from bottom to top and the other text to top. Adding a stagger, play around with it. Searching for a way to make it more circular. On the research I found the sin() function inside CSS which can build a more smooth non linear curve for the stagger which creates this circular effect. And step by step adding more complexity like, different easing for hover/hover-out, opacity, 3D transform and more. I use also the sin() function to rotate the letters, so the middle ones are getting more rotated than the outer ones. Another thing which helps is to add a small delay on hover, for example 0.05s or 0.1s, you don’t really see the difference, but when you hover pretty fast on and out it doesn’t get that jumpy. I’m using here GSAP’s SplitText to split every char into spans. And then I’m adding a CSS index variable to every span, starting from the center. SplitText can provide CSS index variables, but you cannot tell it from which direction. For the sin() it’s also important to have a max length, so I add another CSS variable with the max char number on it. Crafting 100 Buttons with Osmo ⏳ Total time: 63h

i helped satisfy one of my coaching client's wives last month there's this one windows setting that's secretly holding back thousands of league players it's called enhance pointer precision sounds good right? sounds like it makes your cursor more accurate it does the opposite it adds mouse acceleration. your cursor moves different distances based on how fast you move your hand move slow: cursor barely moves move fast: cursor flies across the screen so your muscle memory is fucked. your brain can never build consistent patterns. you're trying to learn micro but your cursor is literally different every single time you move it it's like trying to learn piano but every key is in a different spot each day this client was silver 4. adc main. mechanics looked drunk. cursor flying everywhere. overshooting targets. kiting looked like a seizure told him to turn it off instantly his cursor is 1 to 1. hand moves an inch, cursor moves an inch. every time. consistent. predictable. smooth his hands and fingers finally learned what consistency feels like two weeks later he's gold 3. mechanics cleaner. skillshots landing. kiting smoother then i get a message "bro my wife told me to thank you" i said "for helping you climb?" he said "nah bro. the mouse precision thing. helped with more than league" took me a second. i don't just coach league i help wives finish Study the Saskio way

Dear X Design Who thought replacing the native Android gallery with the Google Photos media picker was a good idea? 🤦‍♂️ On Galaxy phones, I expect the app to open Samsung Gallery, not Google Photos. Now I have to: ❌ Dig through folders every time ❌ Re-select the same folder for every new attachment ❌ Spend more time finding photos than actually posting This is a massive UX downgrade. Android isn't one-size-fits-all. Respect OEM gallery apps and use the native media picker instead. Samsung Members gets this right. I've attached a video showing the difference. Agree? Repost so the X team sees this. 👇🏻

Contact in the desert was the biggest ever this year and so was the sky watch. We witnessed dozens of orbs. With 5 minutes left before the hotel turned the lights on, I told more than a 1000k people present why pointing my laser in a certain direction that the phenomenon may give us a grand Finale and it may be an orb with wings. We didn't upload Lee Knows cut today since there is none. The only parts we could gather were from far away as a group, he didn't have any time on the talker. We are disappointed to see that every time he is excluded from more content; first it was promotional content, now even unofficial group content that is aimed at showing how the members spend the time recording backstage, are excluding him. The point of talkers is to see more of the members, and now is rare to see Lee Know being recorded for even the talkers. As much as we accepted Lee Know missing in some content, or his parts to be barely visible sometimes, this has reached a point were we are almost certain that we won't see him when new content comes out. We hope this doesn't continue since the group consists of 8 members. We hope Stray Kids Supporters Stray Kids Stray Kids_JP remember this when we have more content. Especially on the recording of the end of the year performances, we listened to how Stays were impressed by Lee Know's direction as the dance leader, and how he took care of the stage, so we are sure there is plenty of Lee Know content that can be shown, we hope to see it.
