I feel like some screenshake and motion blue on the surroundings would go a long way. Look at racing games like Blue or NFS Most Wanted for reference.

If the devs are interested , please make the player able to pick up things in the world that can be throwable or usable to attack enemies. Saw the saving mechanic in TGS footage would be great to see the Pickup mechanic & some more super powers like gravity or something

I think depending on the situation you might want hyper speed versus super speed. You should have an option to switch on the fly. In battle you might want slower super speed for alil more control and finesse or hyper speed when you really just need to go. Make it happen champ!.
