🚨DHS agents are now assaulting and arresting DEAF high school students… and then claiming they “failed to comply” with verbal commands they physically could not hear. In the video, protesters begin running. Multiple agents immediately tackle a high school student to the ground as people around them shout that... he is deaf. The agents ignore them, and take him anyway. Later, DHS claimed Anthony Paredes was arrested for “failure to comply with directions”… directions that were given verbally, to a student who could not hear them. Read that again. They charged a deaf student for not following spoken commands. Paredes later signed on social media that DHS came outside, started chasing a woman, chaos broke out, and as people ran, agents chased him, assaulted him, and arrested him… despite him not being the target and despite being deaf. But it gets worse… After arresting him, they did not provide an interpreter. A clear violation of disability law. While detained, he tried to mouth that he needed to use the bathroom. Agents shrugged and ignored him, because he was deaf. 🚨BREAKING: ICE agents illegally arrested a U.S. citizen for not carrying ID… then dumped him an hour and a half later, miles away, in Minneapolis. In the video, a U.S. citizen is standing in a parking lot while agents illegally racially profile him and try to “run” his information. They can’t identify him. Bystanders repeatedly tell the agents he is a U.S. citizen and that they cannot take him. The agents ignore everyone, walk him to their vehicle, and take him anyway. An hour and a half later, after illegally detaining and transporting him, they drop him off miles from where they kidnapped him. That is an unlawful detention. That is an unlawful arrest. That is government agents disappearing a U.S. citizen because he didn’t have “papers” on him. And this is exactly why you never answer ICE’s questions. The only thing you should ever say to an agent is: “Am I being detained, or am I free to go?” If they are stopping you, they should already know who you are.

After video exposed agents assaulting a U.S. citizen, DHS claimed the man “refused lawful commands.” Except… those commands weren’t lawful at all. This man was racially profiled twice. The first time, he showed his ID and agents left. Then, when he returned to his car with food, a second group of agents approached him without any legal basis. Here are the laws Border Patrol violated: 👉Fourth Amendment Agents cannot detain someone without reasonable suspicion. Sitting in a parking lot, with takeout, is not a crime… and appearance alone is not reasonable suspicion. 👉No Warrant, No Probable Cause They had no warrant, no probable cause, and no articulable suspicion of any crime or immigration violation. But it gets worse… In Joliet, IL, ICE agents jumped out of their cars, racially profiled a man, began handcuffing him, and forced him into an unmarked vehicle that had its license plate covered. They asked the foreman if he knew them. He said no. Then, they asked if they could talk to the other workers about the people they were looking for. In the video, the man is pulled from a car and is face down on the pavement, with his feet still inside the vehicle. There are MULTIPLE agents on top of him. He does not appear to be actively fighting back, punching, kicking at the agents, attacking anyone, or trying to flee. He is simply lying on the ground. One agent is seen stepping on the man, with his full weight, and repeatedly bouncing on him, before appearing to kick him in the face. Then, while an agent is kneeling on the man’s back, he pulls out his taser and points it at him… as another agent walks around the car, with a second taser, and tases him. The agents pull the man’s arms behind his back and handcuff him… as the man has a seizure. And let’s be clear about what happened… Refusing to put your hands behind your back is NOT the same thing as actively fighting law enforcement. And ICE’s own use-of-force policy specifically categorizes electronic control weapons, like tasers, as a higher level of force than basic physical control techniques. Its policy says intermediate force may be used only when there is no reasonably effective, safe, feasible alternative available. And a taser is NOT supposed to be used as a punishment for someone who isn’t complying with an order. The purpose of force is to gain control of a situation… not to punish someone for refusing to comply. So, when MULTIPLE agents already have a man physically surrounded and pinned down, and he isn’t actively attacking them, or attempting to escape… Why was an ELECTRICAL WEAPON necessary? Being difficult to handcuff does not give federal agents permission to use whatever force they want. Especially when that force can cause seizures and other serious medical complications. Which is why accountability matters. Because when armed, masked federal agents believe there will be no consequences for using excessive force, there is nothing stopping the next encounter from becoming even worse. The Constitution doesn’t disappear because someone is being detained by ICE. ICE agents are not above the law.

In Louisiana, agents began following a Honduran man who was simply driving his daughter to school. When he realized he was being tailed, he went back home, went inside, and begged the agents to check his ID and valid work permit, which were sitting right in the front seat of his car. The agents looked at his documents… and still claimed it “wasn’t enough” to prove he was here legally. That alone is alarming. But it gets worse. When his wife arrived, agents suddenly shifted their story and claimed they had an order of removal for him… which would mean they absolutely knew who he was and what his immigration status was. So, she did exactly what she should: she asked to see the order. And instantly, the story changed. The agents backtracked, said their documents were “incorrect,” and left. This wasn’t enforcement. This was a fishing expedition… and they got caught lying. Federal agents are now banking on fear, confusion, and intimidation to detain people who are in the country legally. And it’s not an isolated incident. Multiple reports, lawsuits, and firsthand accounts across have documented ICE agents arresting, or attempting to arrest, people who have valid work permits or are otherwise lawfully present. After demanding that he show his ID, the U.S. citizen asks if he is free to go, and then tells them to get the F away from his car. Instead of going back to their own cars, the agents tell him to “chill”… after they had already illegally detained him and demanded identification. The U.S. citizen then gets out of his car, to record the agents’ license plates, and one of the ICE agents has the audacity to say: “Sir, please don’t interfere with our investigations.” Interfere with what investigation? When U.S. citizens refuse to comply with these unlawful demands, we’ve repeatedly seen ICE agents escalate the situation with physical force. Citizens have been shoved, dragged from vehicles, pinned to the ground, and pepper sprayed after refusing unlawful demands, or asserting their constitutional rights. On Friday in Evanston, Illinois, chaos ensued when a red car slammed into the back of a DHS vehicle. The car had been tailing the agents in their SUV to warn neighbors of their presence. After the car rear-ended DHS, the driver of the car, passenger, and one other person were arrested. The Trump administration confirmed all three are US citizens. At one point during the arrests, a woman tried to help an arrested woman escape. An agent caught that attempt in the act and threw the helper to the side so he could shove the arrested woman back in the SUV. He then pulled his gun out to defend himself. The man in the green shirt on the ground was handcuffed and arrested. During his arrest, he resisted and was subdued by agents on top of him. Eventually the SUV sped off with the agents and the arrested Americans. The red car was towed away. The crowd had been completely out of control. In the video, the agents repeatedly insisted they had a warrant for the passenger, demanded he get out of the car, and threatened to tase him if he didn’t comply. But, when the passenger continued to ask to see the warrant, the agents suddenly asked for his ID. After running his identification, they decided to change the story… Agents then started asking the driver for their ID, despite admitting they did not know who they were dealing with. A woman was driving on Highway 211, in Oregon, when a vehicle with flashing red and blue lights pulled behind her. Believing she was being stopped by law enforcement, she pulled over. Two men approached her vehicle, one was carrying a rifle, and they claimed to be ICE agents and told her she was being detained. They pulled her out of her car, searched her, and put her in the back of their vehicle. Then, a third man… who remained inside the vehicle… assaulted her. He told her he was the “guard.” The men were wearing tactical vests labeled “POLICE,” carrying fake badges, and wore face coverings. They held her for nearly 20 minutes before telling her she was free to go… and then she drove herself to the hospital. And while she was there, she reported that she started receiving text messages from someone claiming to be a law firm offering legal representation for her detention. Federal authorities later confirmed this was NOT an official ICE operation… These were people pretending to be federal agents. Yes on the videos we have so far. The initial encounter was him filming them. There was no gun being brandished. They jumped out of vehicles to go to try to intimidate him. Unfortunately there's no video yet between then and when they had them on the ground. When they had him on the ground they were pistol whipping him, at first it looked like a baton, but it's actually a gun. They had him down with at least five officers. You got to wait for a second so he tried to stand up they shot him in the back he was motionless after they shot him in the back. Then there were four more shots or more after that unloaded into his body from a posture of standing above him. Not a defensive posture. He's supposedly has a gun. It looks like ICE took something out of a holster. So it's likely that he did have a HOLSTERED GUN in an open carry state that is not a reason to shoot someone to death. He was not brandishing it -- again it was his camera. That was the reason for the initial approach was to intimidate him about his camera. It is perfectly legal to film ice This is out not murder once again. Now there is some sort of speculation on social that a gun was dropped and a bullet went off.
