Did you know how NASA reset the Saturn V's guidance system?

Note that it was and is still a standard practice for rockets, satellites, etc. It was not Saturn V specific.

I just recently found out out about this system and this is a great video showing this. I believe, someone may correct me, that when the announcement is made, “Guidance is internal” that is when guidance goes from the ground theodolite position to vehicle guidance.

Exactly, at T-15 seconds, the theodolite stops reseting the gimbals.

Why did they need to reset guidance system right before launch?
