A lot of containers have similar plastic lining. In this case it is probably a net positive. Aluminium can be harmful to your brain.

It has to have plastic inside otherwise the acid in the soda will cause aluminium to leech into the drink. There’s a reason acids are stored in plastic or glass not in aluminium.

The acidity of the drink will consume it.. Meaning the drink is full of microplastic. Try to wash a Cola Bottle and get rid of the smell of the Cola.. Can`t do it. It has eaten into the plastic to such an extend that the bottle will smell like cola even after flushing it many times.

Pour boiling water in and it explodes with nanoplastics — he estimates 500,000 to over 1 million per cup. One can of Coke? 3.7 million nanoplastics. Bottled water? 250,000 per liter. I’m sitting here with my ceramic cup, quietly judging every coffee run I’ve ever had. This one really hit me. I knew plastic was bad, but the sheer daily load from normal drinks caught me off guard. We’re exposed to way more of this stuff than most people realize, and the long-term effects are still being uncovered. Simple swaps like glass or stainless steel actually matter.
