Did you watch Ninja Scroll?

Yea. Few things can top this hand drawn animation and art style.

I saw it it is wonderful

of course, it's a classic - I still have an original VHS tape

Wow that is old!! 😮

I was there....in the begining

@SuperSisi Old💀

@SuperSisi Not old, ancient

No, but I need to (added to my list). Elegant brutality in this scene

I did 6 month ago it is amazing and violence and dirty 🤭

ninja Scroll and Akira was the two first grown-up anime’s I saw, not a bad start ☺️

I did long ago and I loved it now I want to watch it again 🤩🤩

YES and i need more anime like this recommended to me 🥴🥴🥴

Did you see kite??

@Kulltt Kite is utterly bonkers I actually picked up the fully uncut remastered Blu-Ray a little while ago

@SuperSisi i have not see it. Thank you for the suggestion @Neilbyrne @SuperSisi

@SuperSisi I won't lie it's freaking dark, deals with child abuse & pretty violent Definitely not one to go into lightly

@SuperSisi i dont mind actually , i'm actually looking for the darkest animes i can find tbh 👀

@SuperSisi Lol well if it helps have a look at Genocyber as well that's one super dark Cyberpunk OVA Urotsukidoji is worth looking at too I have a certain taste in Anime as well...here's what I've picked up recently all very much on the darker side

@SuperSisi v nice adding these to my list!

i have the 10th anniversary dvd

This was my first dive into adult anime.

I just watched this for the first time and it’s so good

Yes I watch 6 month ago first time 😄

Hell yeah i did! When i saw this 9/10 it was going to be some fire!

Yes I did. Back in the 90s. Owned the vhs. Need to get the dvd and BR and the eventual 4k of it.

I have it on VHS 👍🥰📼

My favorite anime since the 90s, when I had to watch it dubbed. I got to watch it in its native language recently now that I've taught myself to understand and speak Japanese. Still holds up🤘🏼

Yes. A visual stunner.

About once a year, almost religiously

Hell yes! I watched this right after I watched Akira, Golgo 13: The Professional, and Fist of the North Star.

Yes at a young age I think I was like 10 years old, me and my older brother were watching it.

Also watch Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust. Same studio.

Ninja Scroll is epic

Yes The Series and the Movie

Classic, along with many other anime movies from that time.

One of the most bad ass anime of all time!

Never saw it before.

My favorite of all time 👍🏽👊🏽🫡

All those tourists who think “one piece is da bast!” Should be educated with this classic.

I did! It's one of the greatest anime titles ever made. We recently watched it in the Anime Late Night discord group and after all these years, it's still just amazing. So perfect!

A very long time ago. I need to see it again by now since I dont remember much about it.

Yeah, loved it..

One of favs, along with Record of Lodoss War

So many times I’m sure I’ve got it memorized
