Up, Back and Through Possession 5v2 in the area in which the ball is. 🔵 Target is to get the ball from one end player to another. The ball must go through the central player on the line. Complete six passes and then score in one of two ways. My #SundayShare is 2 v 1 practice looking at forward passing and movement to receive. A key task is off the ball movement - players must time their run to receive in the central channel (which defenders cannot enter) to progress to the final third. Coaching points: · Positioning to receive: ideally on the half turn. · Movement off the ball: looking for space and angles to receive. · Decision-making: timing of runs and the pass. · Technique – weight of pass; also angle. · Creativity: core moves, especially blind side runs, diagonal run/straight ball and vice versa.
