I’m going to share this with my 7 year old. I know it will interest him in a new method. He would calculate 25x15 as he knows his 25xtable, then subtract 15. Let’s see…!

Started teaching multiplication this way to make the connection with area..love this method & also helps with algebraic multiplication and division later on... Oh and also love cats (where did you get the t-shirt?🐱)
