Do you remember being tested for the gifted program? I do. In 3rd grade. I missed it by only a few points and diagnosed with adhd shortly after. They tried to put me on drugs but my mom thought I was too young. I specifically remember them asking me...

Two years ago, I wouldnโ€™t have been caught dead at a Trump rally. I was a liberal, I thought Trump was awful. Tonight was a beautiful moment to remember just how far Iโ€™ve come in 2 years. Yes, Iโ€™m frustrated with a lot, but Iโ€™m reminded just how INSANELY GOOD we have it. Do you remember what it used to be like? Do you remember how bad it was? I remember screaming on X for the Biden administration to help Western North Carolina for MONTHS. All I got was silence. I was mocked by Bidenโ€™s FEMA and they called me a liar for showing what was OUTSIDE MY OWN FRONT DOOR. Do you remember that? I do. Do you remember when they called illegal immigration unsolvable? I do. Before Trump got into office, I had no idea it was even a big problem, I had no idea our country was completely invaded by illegals until I got on X, and saw the truth. We are so quick to forget how dark it was before Trump came into office. Iโ€™m guilty of it just as much as anyone. But the beauty of the Trump rally, was that he reminded me of all the things heโ€™s accomplished, and how much crap Iโ€™ve taken for granted, forgotten about, and then gotten upset about the problems he hasnโ€™t solved yet. And Iโ€™m worried that a lot of people have or will be so caught up in the bad, that they forget the good. And thereโ€™s so much good On a personal noteโ€ฆ I live in a very liberal city, and it was such a uniquely beautiful experience to be surrounded by people who didnโ€™t hate me or want me dead. Thereโ€™s so many good amazing people that love America and want her to succeed. That alone made the trip with it.

This man applied for a job and was hired but told them he could start for 6 weeks because he wanted to do some traveling for leisure. But during the hiring process he had 72 hours to do a drug test which he failed to do. They cancelled his job offer and he feels it wasnโ€™t because of the missed drug test, so what is he implying the reasoning behind it was then? Fresh out of college, that insurance gig was the first one I applied for and was hired for. Up until then I never had to take a drug test but then again why would I have? I didnโ€™t do drugs on a normal basis anyways. But my best friends were pot heads. On the day before my drug test I was smoking a cigarette and my friend asked for a hit and I gave it to him. The other friend passed me a joint and I took it thinking it was my cigarette and I took a long dragged and almost coughed up a lung. I panicked, I just had taken a hit of pot when I had to be drug tested for a new job the next day. I went to the testing and did it, I got a call a few days later from HR confirming I passed and I told her I was worried because my friends smoke and I thought it would show up in my system as a second hand application. She said nah donโ€™t worry, we only test for the hard stuff anyways. That part I didnโ€™t know, but after that I saw my other buddies pass their work related tests too so maybe it was more widespread than I knew.
