I'm all for massive improvements in cycling infrastructure, but the metre-plus's worth of road markings leading up to the kerb are precisely for alerting you to it, aren't they?

Am I the only one that can see the markings on the floor that clearly show a separation coming up ? Surely if your paying attention you'd never hit that or am I missing something here ?

One that sent me flying on Farringdon Road ( it just looked like the white line that preceded it at night ). And the solution - presumably after a few more crashes were reported. Was lethal.
