tip for what exactly? doing your job? what expectations did you have?

It’s sad to see comments degrading this guy‘s job and saying he doesn’t deserve a tip. The only reason people do these kinds of jobs is for the tips. The “pay” barely covers expenses. If his service isn’t valuable to you, get your lazy ass up and go get your own food.

As a delivery driver, he took this order knowing what the price is. You as an independent contractor have the right to decline low paying orders.

Well DoorDash pays them only $2 and when they take those orders they think they will get cash tip. @t_xu is to blame for underpaying dashers. These guys make way less then minimum wage after fuel and expensive. This job is not worth it and should be regulated

They sign up and know what DoorDash is paying them. When you order, you are already paying for delivery, so why do have to be obligated to pay a tip. If they don't like what Door Dash is paying them, then take it up with door dash..... Not the customer. Otherwise don't work for them, find another job elsewhere.
