Dreamcast is so powerful... It's not just an image on the screen. You can interact with the in-game PC with the Dreamcast mouse and keyboard. (I won't copy Win95 for the final look, want to design my own fake OS :D)

Extremely proud of what I managed to achieve here. I want to do a fake OS with a painting program, a browser (which would have both fake and real internet), some small 2D games to play, ability to load and save files from/to an SD card... The possibilities are endless.

Picotron/PICO-8 is a huge influence for me, so maybe I'll build some small OS/virtual machine with the same vibes... So you could write small games in this Dreamcast game... Wouldn't it be pretty cool? (If only Picotron was open source, maybe I'd attempt to port it, but alas)

If you're impressed/relieved coming to DC from PS1, imagine how former Saturn devs felt

Dreamcast has wince os so this is a "windowsception".

Dreamcast itself doesn't have it. It can run some libraries (and supports DirectX) if you put the binary in the disc, but the BIOS/ROM itself has nothing to do with Windows CE. 😅 Most games didn't use this WinCE compatibility.

A long time ago I imagined if the dreamcast was portable, it would of been something else. Not everyone had access to the internet lines back in the day. That and like I've said before, the gc/wii really didn't seem to be any better but they didn't fall off the earth.
