BREAKING: Today, a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 9.13 successfully intercepted and shot down a Russian Geran-4 jet-powered one-way attack drone. Rare footage shows the MiG-29 intercepting and chasing the Geran-4 at extremely low altitude. In the left-hand footage, the fighter can be seen pursuing the drone close to the ground, while the right-hand footage captures the successful engagement and the MiG-29 subsequently flying over the burning wreckage of the destroyed drone. This terrifying spin happened only seconds after this Bell 206L-3 lifted off from a rooftop helipad in Medellín, Colombia. Six people were inside the helicopter as it spun violently just seconds after takeoff, slammed into the building and ended up suspended from a structure. From the footage, it looks like the kind of accident where the outcome could have been completely different. There was almost no altitude, no time to recover, and a high-rise building directly beneath the flight path. Seems to me like a helicopter tail rotor failure, but there could be several other possibilities, including the engine, flight controls, wind and other environmental conditions, as well as the takeoff technique. Watching those few seconds shows just how quickly a helicopter can go from a normal takeoff to a loss-of-control emergency!

A drone of "unknown origin" was reportedly shot down by US forces in Erbil Kurdistan (northern Iraq) that can be seen in multiple videos landing in the Zin City area (northeast) or Erbil. I've seen several social media accounts claiming it impacted near the local US Consulate. I spent a lot of time operating in and around Erbil and the Consulate in my younger days and Zin City is roughly 3 miles as the crow flies from the Consulate and, for a city the size of Erbil, it's no where near the Consulate. It's the American equivalent of saying something that came down in mid-town Manhattan impacted near Brooklyn. Just figured I'd add a little "on the ground" knowledge to the breaking story since I can.... 👌🏽 #drone #erbil #USConsulate

In January 2020, a medical helicopter transporting a donor heart crashed on the rooftop helipad of Keck Hospital at USC during its landing. The impact happened directly above operating rooms and intensive care units, just as staff were preparing for a critical transplant. With donor hearts only viable for a short period outside the body, time was of the essence. Hospital staff immediately activated emergency protocols upon realizing a helicopter had crashed above them. Despite the tragedy of the pilot losing his life, first responders were able to retrieve the donor heart from the wreckage and bring it safely inside, allowing the transplant to move forward. The crash led to temporary disruptions in the hospital as the rooftop helipad was closed for structural assessments and federal officials carried out their investigation. Ultimately, while the pilot did not survive, the donor heart was successfully delivered and used in the life-saving procedure.

A Russian drone is adjusting a fire with four guided thermobaric bombs on the position of one of our brigades near the village of Lyptsi, a key village on the approaches to Kharkiv. The small landing is literally demolished by powerful explosions, and the hits are very accurate. After this strike, with the help of a drone adjustment, a Russian assault group went to assault the landing site. They were supported from above by a drone that dropped grenades. And even in such difficult conditions and after such strikes, a group of Ukrainian soldiers survived. And they, all shell-shocked, did not run away or surrender. A few Ukrainians dug themselves out of the trenches completely covered with earth, got up, and suddenly met the Russian assault group with aimed fire. Ukrainian heroes withstand a high density of enemy strikes, they fight to the death for every meter of land near Kharkiv and do everything possible and impossible. They know that they will not be covered from the air, they know they will have to equip their positions on the front line themselves with shovels, they know that the enemy has a lot of force. But they are Ukrainians, and behind them is Kharkiv, and next to them are their brothers-in-arms, who are fighting and also repelling all Russian attacks. Well… things are getting even weirder. It turns out the crack–boom sound analysis actually puts the shot origin in the same area where a drone was spotted. Even crazier: John Cullen 🐓 has exposed that the U.S. military made two flights over Charlie’s event that day with a spy plane specifically designed to launch drones. The plot thickens. At this point, all signs seem to keep pointing toward a possible military or intelligence operation rather than some random act. I’m not claiming to have all the answers yet, but we need to be asking hard questions — and digging deeper.

Leftist Purav Jha saw a helicopter flying in the sky and recorded a video of the helicopter and posted it on his Instagram story, asking why the helicopter is flying but its blades look stopped and why they don't appear to be spinning. This is the same Purav Jha who supported the CJP protest and made several videos in support of it, but he himself is not educated and has no knowledge of science, otherwise he would not have uploaded such a story. Actually, the helicopter's blades are spinning, but they can appear stopped from the ground or on camera because of the stroboscopic effect/aliasing. When the speed of the blades matches the timing of what our eyes or the camera are able to perceive, the blades can appear stationary even though they are spinning rapidly. People like Purav Jha are themselves uneducated, but they come to lecture others on every topic.

Americans are not ready to watch sons and daughters hunted by FPV drones. Some may not like this post, and that’s OK. Some may see this as being a “panican,” and that is also OK. My tolerance for American blood being spilled is very, very low. But this needs to be said: If you have paid any attention to the war in Ukraine, you will know how drone warfare has escalated. You will have an understanding of the sophistication of the Ukrainians and Russians in their pursuit of hunting and killing each other with human-guided robots strapped with explosives. We know Russia and Iran share military ties; hell, the most common form of long-range standoff munition used to target Ukrainian infrastructure is an Iranian-designed Shahed drone. Now, are the Iranians as sophisticated as the Russians? No. But will a ground action result in grainy videos of Americans being hit by FPV drones? Almost certainly. Could the deployment of ground forces to the Gulf be a feint? Sure, it could be, but this point extends beyond Iran. The U.S. needs to be ready to counter the drone menace. I won’t pretend to know the inner machinations of the Joint Chiefs, the White House, or President Trump, but with the destruction of an E-3 Sentry on the runway, it has become absolutely clear the U.S. armed forces have not scaled their ability to handle drones. I don’t know what the answer here is, but I haven’t seen this point brought up at the frequency it deserves. It needs to be said. We are not ready for footage of American soldiers and Marines cowering in their last moments, set to some upbeat pop song or some cleric screaming praises to Allah.
