My mom’s neighbor used to yell at my nephew all the time for no reason, he was only 5 years old when it happened. It got so bad I wouldn’t let him outside by himself anymore. On more than one occasion she would move her car when we walked by as if she was trying to bump him with her mirror. I left work and went over there to visit and when I pulled up I saw my mom outside having a screaming match with the neighbor. My nephew was standing behind my mom and I could see he was crying. I immediately went over there and asked what was going on.she said she came home from work and saw my nephew who I remind you is 5 years old, shirtless and running through a sprinkler in the front yard. She feels that he shouldn’t have been doing that in the front yard and how he was dressed inappropriately for all to see. I looked at him, he was shirtless and was wearing swim trunks and rubber water shoes. I was very confused as to what she meant by inappropriate. I told her he’s a little boy running around a sprinkler, it’s hot out and he wasn’t even close to her property. She said she didn’t care, it was the fact that he was out there shirtless and he shouldn’t have had to see it if he was doing it in the back yard like he was supposed to. My mom then chimed in and said she didn’t have to scream at him like that, he’s only 5 years old. The neighbor threatened to call the cops if she saw him running around shirtless again I told her to be my guest, he’s not doing anything wrong. I ended up calling her son who I grew up with, he and I were friends but as soon as he was old enough he ran out and never came back. He said his mom hated kids, she even treated him badly when he was a kid too and that’s why he left when he did. I ended up installing cameras there to document what was going on incase this escalated further.

Can any of my friends from the Boomer Generation answer this for me? Why are the Boomers so offended when ask to see their ID? This bank teller was explaining how she goes through this all the time. They always tell her that they’ve been banking there longer than she’s been alive. Showing an ID is just a simple measure to prevent fraud and theft, yet they yell at her for it. I ask because this happens to me all the time, even on the phone. Back at the pizza shop I would have an elderly man call in an order for food and most of the time he picks it up himself, no problem at all. However he started sending other people to pick it up as well as have other people calling the order. When the person picking up shows me his card which I recognize his name which had his photo on it, I won’t accept it without and ID as well, just a precaution. He then had to come all the way down there just to yell at me because obviously it’s for him and I shouldn’t have hassled him. I tried to explain to him when he calls it in and picks it up I know it’s him. However when others call it in and pick it up, I can’t verify if it’s actually legit or not, what if somebody stole his card and tried to use it. He still had an issue with it and explains that his grandkids should be able to use his card, I tell him that’s not how it works and if he kept giving my staff a hard time I would ban him from the store. I don’t need anybody threatening the workers over something meant to protect him. Should I just have let anybody use his card without verification at the shop? What if somebody did steal his card and spent his money, then he would have been mad at me for letting them do it.

“I was driving up 75, and saw the trooper in the turnout...checked my speed, oh I'm good. A few minutes later, I see a dog in the ditch by one of the signs for exit 20. She looked bad. I was in the left lane, heading to an appointment, and was torn. I decided I would go back southbound and risk a ticket by going to the turnout. I turned in and the trooper was still there! Yay! He rolled down his window and said "yep! I'm here" to which i told him about the dog and I didn't want a ticket, but if I could help that dog, it was fine by me. He just asked where the dog was and was on his way! I followed and we found her, still there, panting like she was fixing to die. That trooper dumped his jug out and fashioned a water bowl for her. Then poured a couple bottles of water. The dog was scared of him, but frozen in weakness. She sniffed the water, then realized this kindness was for her! She drank that water down in minutes! The trooper went and got her some more, plus a Little Debbie. She watched him warily the whole time. She sniffed his hand but was still wary. Next thing, he goes to his vehicle and gets a chair and an umbrella. He told me he will stay here until she trusts him, so he can get her to a shelter, or take her home. I believe his being there at the right time, was one of those little messages reminding us of the good in our world. Meet Trooper Tudors of the TN State Highway Patrol. This is a 55 second video from Sgt. No-Fucking-Goode's bodycam when he was pulling out of the cemetery after getting my plates to ID me. Notice how shakey the footage is. I wasn't lying when I said he looked like he was on drugs. He took his bodycam off his chest to try and get my car as he drove by. They claim their is not other footage from when he went into the cemetery. I have the dashcam footage and his bodycam when I confronted him in Canton Police department. I won my appeal on the reductions applied to the Colin and Chris bodycam footage and they have 8 business days to respond. They also claimed exemptions on the footage from the station and I have to contact CJIS to get the information from Goode running my plates. I have been busy the last couple weeks and will post updates tomorrow with all this information. I hope to be in the Dedham, Canton and Stoughton area in the upcoming weeks.

Williams passed, it was a blow. And I go through my own existential crisis about like what am I doing? Is this, am I on the right side? When I was traveling to NC I bought a window seat because I wanted to enjoy the scenery, it was slightly more expensive than a normal seat. When I got boarded, I went to my tow and I looked at my seat and there was a kid sitting there. I was confused because this was the seat I paid for, I had no idea who the kid was and why they were in my seat. A woman came up and handed some snacks to the kid and then sat down at the seat next to the kid and I asked her if they were in the right seat and she said yes. I said the window seat was mine and showed the ticket. She said well her daughter wanted to sit there, I said well if she did you should have paid for it because I did. She asked if I had kids and I said no, and she said well when you do you will appreciate it because things like this will keep them quiet during the flight. Once again I said that’s fine but I paid for this for a reason, you should have planned ahead. I ended up having to get an attendant who made them move, but the woman wasn’t quiet about it she started calling me selfish and what kind of person would take stuff away from a kid. I said the kind of person that paid for the things they feel entitled to. I did end up feeling bad about it later but it wasn’t really my problem, I didn’t want to be emotionally blackmailed because she didn’t want to pay more money for that set. This woman moved seats on her own and was told she would be booted if she didn’t sit in her assigned seat. I’m sure there is a reason behind this, I think I read an article once that said it was due to weight and such. Would you move though? It doesn’t seem like much of a big deal to me.

Ariana Madix recalls when she caught her boyfriend of nine years, Tom Sandoval, cheating on her with her best friend, Raquel. She says she was holding his phone while he was performing a song, and felt a divine intervention in that moment. She says she’s not someone who likes to snoop because she knows she’ll find something she doesn’t want to see, as that’s been the case in her past relationships. But she went through his phone anyway and found evidence of him cheating in his camera roll. “I was holding my phone and his phone just kinda as a stack. I've been like that in past relationships. So in this one I was like I'm not going to do that and if I ask about something I will take Tom's word. I will be someone who trusts. I just had this thought, this is a time to do it. So I went into the bathroom at TomTom, he had not changed the passcode on his phone. We knew each other’s passcodes. So, it felt like if you were going to be the type of person who is going to have an affair or be cheating or hiding things, you wouldn’t also be so readily giving of your stuff like that. For historian Elizabeth Pryor, the N-word posed a quandary. On the one hand, her father, comedian Richard Pryor, used the word on stage as part of his routine. But he would also tell her when she was a child not to let anyone call her the N-word. "I just knew in my heart there was a difference between the word that he was trying to highlight and the racist word that I was called at school," she told PBS News' Geoff Bennett. "But it was hard to figure out." Elizabeth, a professor at Smith College, has spent much of her career studying the origins of the N-word. In her new book, "Something We Said: Richard Pryor, a Notorious Word, and Me," she examines how her father changed comedy and his relationship with the N-word. "He literally told me I had to punch somebody out if they ever call me the N-word," she said. Yet, he "also went up on stage, and he had a gold record that was on the wall, and it was, 'That N-word's crazy.' So it was hard to figure out, as was my dad in many ways, which is part of the story." "I just knew in my heart there was a difference between the word that he was trying to highlight and the racist word that I was called at school," she told PBS News' Geoff Bennett. "But it was hard to figure out." Elizabeth, a professor at Smith College, has spent much of her career studying the origins of the N-word. In her new book, "Something We Said: Richard Pryor, a Notorious Word, and Me," she examines how her father changed comedy and his relationship with the N-word. "He literally told me I had to punch somebody out if they ever call me the N-word," she said. Yet, he "also went up on stage, and he had a gold record that was on the wall, and it was, 'That N-word's crazy.' So it was hard to figure out, as was my dad in many ways, which is part of the story." Elizabeth spoke to Bennett for the latest episode of PBS News' podcast, "Settle In," about her new book and her father's legacy. For the full episode:

THE DAY I GAVE A LIFT TO GHOSTS OR WERE THEY ANGELS ? I was travelling to Zimbabwe from Lobatse, Botswana, my first contract had lapsed. When I reached the Zimbabwe border, they wanted to make me pay duty for my Botswana registered car, so I decided to return to Francistown where I met the chief Immigration officer and he agreed to give me a temporary permit that would allow me to re-enter Zimbabwe as a visitor. By the time I reached Bulawayo, it was already dark but I was determined to reach Chivi that night so I hit the road towards Gweru. As I entered Shurugwi, I missed a turn and continued towards some houses. I saw a lady wearing a long overcoat. I stopped and asked her the directions to road that would take me through Boterekwa. She told me that she was a policewoman and she was on her way to Boterekwa as she had received a message that there had been an accident there. She asked me to pass through the police station as she was supposed to pick another policelady to accompany her to the scene. I didn't really care as I was so tired after driving close to 1000 km. She went in and came out with another lady who sat at the back. As we drove towards Boterekwa, the lady said "When we get back to the Police camp there will be a robbery case!" I asked her why, then she said before she met me, she had met another lady who was being followed by a know robber in the area. I asked her why she did not stop the robber but she said she was rushing to attend to the accident. All the while I never looked at her, my mind was just mechanical due to fatigue. She asked if I had ever driven through Boterekwa. I said no. Then she started giving me instructions on how to drive through it. "Just down there is the most dangerous, slow down to 20km/hr. Keep well left." This was around 12 midnight. In the midst of the darkness, she asked me to stop. "This is the scene of the accident, you can drop us here!" I could not see any car nor people. It was just darkness. I remember asking here if they had any guns. How could 2 women disembark in such a dark and scary place like Boterekwa in the midst of the night? She said she would be fine. She proceeded to give me further directions to turn left at the junction to Zvishavane. I hit the road and arrived around 3am. It was only after I was in bed that I started to think deeply about what had happened. The following day I called Shurugwi police station and asked if there had been an accident in Boterekwa, the previous night. Nop! I enquired of the robbery case and they said YES. The policeman on the other end asked me why I was asking those questions and I told him the story. I still wonder if those ladies were ghosts or angels!

Just talked to my PO n he found the email for me to travel to Houston. He said it was at the bottom of the paper under the flights n he overlooked it . He also said he would not count this as a violation. I’ve had over 50 shows since being on paper and I’ve went through the right process to notify my PO on every show .N yes I had marijuana n my system when I got on paper. Every test after that shows that I’m drug free. I get tested all the time n I’m always crystal clean. IM NOT STUPID. MY probation officer has been fair to me throughout this process. it’s the people over him who have problems with me. They asked him to ask me would I sign a piece of paper saying can he record our conversations n I said “ HELL NO “. I will not sit back n let these people drag my name. I have several hours of community service completed.I’ve been doing great on federal probation. Me n my attorneys r working to get this other case dismissed. N here’s proof of my email to travel to Houston

I see this all the time when I am out and about in the winter, the patent is bundled up and the kid isn’t. Sometimes it’s even as bad as the kid is wearing just a t-shirt. If my kid didn’t have a jacket and I was low on funds I would go without before my kid didn’t have a jacket. Worst comes to worst if I had to get one from a thrift store I would do that too, anything for my kid not to go cold like that. This woman was criticized because she refused to spend $35 for a coat for her kid in the winter. She thinks it’s too expensive. Last winter my kid came home from school in a jacket I didn’t buy him. He already has a few really nice and warm jackets that he picked out at the Polo store. But I guess the school had a program that gave new coats to every child. Was I wrong for this? I made him return it because he didn’t need it. I feel like the coat they gave him could have went to a child that actually needed it. He was fine with it because it wasn’t a brand he normally wears anyways. But I think the school should have been more selective about who they gave these coats too. There are kids out there that go without and could benefit, but my kid isn’t one of them. Am I a jerk for that? I feel like he wasn’t going to wear it anyways and I see other kids at his school that didn’t have coats.

What she says about this encounter will KILL some of your brain cells. "I don't even know if what I saw out of Liam was asleep, because I've dealt with a lot of kids and when I tried to touch him, tried to move him just to see if I could get his eyes to open, his eyes never opened.
