@SenWarren @SenWarren The poorest use tax services that aren't free because they get on the spot options for an advance on their refunds. Maybe if the IRS didn't need to wait weeks to refund the CTC,.etc, those people would just file for free. Congress did that, not the IRS.

@SenWarren The Free File program is amazing. I used it for the first time this year! But I only barely learned about it. It should be advertised all over the place!

@SenWarren I’m sorry, but why isn’t the free file program for everyone? Seems adding insult to injury that the majority have to pay in order to pay again!

@SenWarren problem with free file program is not the free file. It’s that i have to do my own taxes with no software tax support. So I am never 100% sure I am doing them totally right OTOH I used a pay for tax software that did it wrong so I had to file 4 yrs of amended state returns.
