Elon Musk on which jobs AI will replace first: “If your job involves moving atoms, you’re probably safe for much longer If it involves moving digits, AI is going to take over those jobs like lightning” Jobs like welding, electrical work, plumbing, cooking and farming will remain much harder... show more

AI is coming for keyboards before it comes for toolboxes. The physical world is the real final boss.

I paint semi trucks , good luck replacing me . Replacing body men is bordering on impossible . The only solution is an end to collisions

Robots will do the rest. 🧏♂️

My accomplishments Elon can explain to you

Ya ya ya

我覺得像這種技術層面的工作是有點難被取代的,要碼就是AI可能有一個東西輔助,操作還是人類自己本身。

@mhdfaran

I do everything with my brain and then the account sponsors Money to start up businesses, it's called nonprofit i gave up digital rights for humanity

You know the office workers are going the get UBI and they are going to tell the blue collar workers they have to keep working that’s how this is going to go.

Fortunately, cook, and work with energy, not for compensation. However, did much entirely "behind a computer" until recently. Not only are the practices changing drastically, but the hazards to my physical vessel are increasingly compounding and if I wasn't such a positive thinking person, I might think there is a pronounced effort to eliminating all human competition. Personally, not overly concerned. Am as old as everybody else. However, am here because I agreed to help. Failure in this regard means moving to another universe. This is the objective of certain ones.

Ah, sheesh .

the part nobody's pricing in is status. a whole generation got told the laptop job was the safe respectable one and the trades were the fallback. if that flips, the career advice parents give is gonna change way slower than the job market does

Manipulating the physical world remains a major challenge for AI systems, unlike computer tasks that can be rapidly automated.

It's what I said... People will work for machines. Robots hate dust so everyone gets in the mines

My job requires moving sick units of mass (humans) around.

I would rather get tired on farming manually rather than being tied to a pc screen a wage slave using CAD till my eyes lose vision

I’d hedge that take... physical work with repetitive steps (robotic welders, harvesters, food machines) is already encroaching. True safety is craft, unpredictability, and social judgment, not just being 'hands-on.'

The shift from moving atoms to moving information is probably only the first step. Once agents take over more digital work, the bottleneck may move from execution to accumulated knowledge — making sure the decisions, context and outcomes produced by thousands of agent workflows don’t disappear after each task. @elonmusk @ekosproject is here for this

You look so much worse now felon @elonmusk 🤡
