End the permanent state. As President, I will repeal civil-service protections for federal employees and replace these managerial protections with sunset clauses. If the President can’t hold his position for more than 8 years, neither should bureaucrats.

Pushing for Congressional term limits is one thing. It’s logical and holds true to the purpose of our bicameral system. But replacing the entire federal government ( ~3 million people) every 4-8 years puts every facet of the nation in a state of constant and unnecessary flux.

Yet another not very well-thought out position by Ramaswamy. The government, and many states, promises pensions to its workers (teachers, police, fire) in lieu of outstanding salaries. The pension is the draw -- take it away and you'll get a less qualified work force. TRUTH.
